I was very surprised with the overall quality of this boom pole, its very sturdy yet quite comfortable, the grip is very comfortable and its lightweight enough that you can use it for decent amounts of time. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Neat, easy to use. Bit heavier than what I had been using but considering the built in xlr connection it's a reasonable trade off. Nice long reach. Used for a location shoot for my kids drama group. Bit stiff to extend but hopefully should get easier over time. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

Overall good build and cheap... i have one complaint the internal XLR cable is free to move around inside a metal tube... so what if your static youll never know but if the shot and or the mic is moving it rattles inside ... not ideal but its easy enough to remove the internal xlr cable

Its simple product but its surprisingly hard to get the design right, before getting this I tried two other makes that simply were not good enough. This one is light weight yet feels like a quality item, I’ve used it twice so far and its comfortable and very quiet, must have!

The product is certainly attractive from a pricing perspective, but the quality is extremely poor. I had a client shoot last week and the locking mechanism failed within 10 minutes. I have been working with the supplier, and it seems that this is a known issue. The planting inside the locking mechanism falls out very easily rendering the product useless as it will no longer remain extended once broken. I would recommend that you spend more and get a better quality product. Especially if you are planning on using it for a paid gig, as this meant I was no longer able to use the boom mic and had to switch to lavaliere's to save the day.

While the pole seems well made, it did come apart on its first use in the field. I managed to gunter a fix using insulating tape but it was disappointing that a weak point manifested itself so quickly. Since I needed it for a 4 day shoot and had to McGyver a repair, I wasn't exactly in a position to return it.

Very happy Neewer started making these. Left an expensive Rode one on a job some time ago and was loathed to cough up for a new one. This unit is a fraction of the cost of the Rode and does a great job. Integrated XLR very welcome. Excellent purchase.

This is the most amazing boom pole holder i have ever seen. The XLR wire is made into the item in a ring fashion so, if the holder split accidently the wire is still stretchable waaw. The quality is outstanding too and i will make youtube review about this soon.

Excellent piece of gear. I use it solely as a rod and haven’t needed the XLR feature. It’s perfect for my setup.

J'ai acheté cette perche juste pour voir de quoi il s'agissait exactement. J'ai été bleffé par sa robustesse et son aspect professionnel. J'aurais apprécié que la pince pour le micro soit livré avec cette perche quitte à payer quelques euros en plus. Ceci dit, ce matériel me convient parfaitement et est agréable à porter, robuste et léger à la fois... A recommander.

I was surprised by this boom pole. Not too heavy and still sturdy. Locking mechanisms work great and eternal cable is a must for me. Noise is minimal if you have steady hands. I have only used this for a few projects so time will tell if it holds up.
