The basic design of these connectors (used in many mini PC's for SATA drives) is the same, except for the part that attaches to the drive end as the 'attachment piece' (where you screw it to the drive holder) is different on many systems, so you need to be careful to get one for your model. Note that this isn't because the little cable is proprietary, or the SATA drive connections other then the usual, but the drive 2.5" SATA drive holder in those minis that have them often have different arrangements for how that will attach. One other thing: You will have to insert the end of the ribbon cable into the thingie on the motherboard, and there is a trick to that. I'd suggest searching on the place you go to see instructional videos and search. It's not hard to do but it's not obvious until you see someone do it, and then you will see how easy it is. But.. it's a relatively delicate cable, and the connection point is very small (given the width of the cable) and it's easy to screw the cable up if you're not careful.
