Q: Can this light be powered directly UK plug socket? Had one as a gift but was unaware it didn't come with a plug to run of mains power.

Each panel comes with an led driver that must be wired to a 3amp fused 240v ac mains supply. It is essential that this work is done by a competent individual, preferably a qualified electrician.

Q: Is the front of the panel ridged? I’d like to use it on a table as a light box for children to put colours on?

It does have a slight ridge but we use it as a light on the ceiling of our conservatory so not sure if it would be suitable for a light box.

Q: Someone mentioned connecting to an existing ceiling rose, can anyone confirm there’s enough room, or do I need to cut a hole in the plaster board.

Remove the ceiling rose and connect it to the wires that are there plenty of room or get an electrician
