worked through 2 hurricanes so far
We have used these during multiple hurricanes. Sooooo much better than dealing with sand bags and storage. We have 6 ft and 12 feet sections. Fill location you want them, hard to move once filled. overlap if needed at seams. We have 6 inch high and 10/12 inch? Use both depending on location. We love they are reusable (easy to fill....buy the hose attachment. It is a great time saver. We have purchased the kind that get wet and expand. Those were worthless. I can not say enough good things about the Hydrabarrier. Use at my house and office in Coastal South Carolina.

Good barrier
Picked this up for my mom and dad to keep water out of their (concrete base) shed (wood). Behind the shed is a rock garden that is a few inches lower than the shed. During big rains the rock garden would fill up and the water seeped under the shed, threatening to rot the wood.I thought this would work better than sandless sandbags because they really needed a barrier, not an absorber. So I filled this with water, laid it on a bunch of rocks backing up to the shed, and it has held up nicely for 7 months through rain and hail storms. It has worked well as a barrier. This does not soak up water, it's not a sandbag

These are Awesome!
Great product. Works as described. Stopped the water, easy to fill with water hose. Works right out of the box, no tools needed. Anybody have any luck drying the inside out before storage? Trying to prevent mold.

Fantastic Product
I bought 2 of the 12ft barriers. 1 for my double doors off of my pool deck. My deck pitches too much towards my house and I always worried about water entering my home. The other I ended up using for my side garage door. I just folded it over on itself to create more of a 6ft barrier and it once again worked like a charm. I have used sandbags for years. They are a pain to fill, a pain to load and unload and a mess once they have been through a storm. These are quick and easy to fill and to empty. Highly recommend!

Great idea
This product is a great idea. I saw one of my neighbors that had it and I thought wow I need one of those. Better than sandbags for sure. Easy to fill an empty. I kept mine up all winter during the rainy season and the plastic is thick so I didn’t have any leaks. When you’re done, you can just empty it fold it up and put it away for the next rainy weather. This is a genius idea. . When you’re done, you can just empty it fold it up and put it away for the next rainy weather. This is an genius idea.

constant leaks, can't be counted on
I live in a hurricane state and got this to add to my preparedness supplies, to have on-hand for the next storm.First hurricane came about a year later and hit overnight. I filled it and all looked good but when I woke it was flat. I found the leak and used the included patch on it. Storm had passed so it was put back in storage.Next hurricane I got it out and while I was filling it I found a second hole. I again used the patch kit they provided but watched in horror as it deflated during the hurricane....at which point all you can do is watch and worry about water coming in your sliders as it's too late to do anything else. This week I faced my third hurricane and just like before, as I was filling it, water was shooting out of another pinhole leak. Plus the patches from the previous hurricane season were coming off. By the time you realize you can't use this, it's too late to do anything as the storm is approaching. I had a can of Flex Seal in the garage and tried that but it didn't work at all. I grabbed some roll plastic and used this as dead weight to hold the plastic in front of my door. I tried rolling it so that the leak was "up" and that meant it only deflated about half the height it should have been.Three times I've tried to use this and each and every time it sprung a leak. It's about as thick and sturdy as a inflatable pool raft. Oh....and the screw on cap broke once so I had to order more caps one year as well.WARRANTY....BEWARE....This thing only has a 30 DAY warranty. So if you buy this to be prepared for a storm that might come sometime down the road you're warranty is over before you ever use it.What annoys me more than the waste of money buying this and the aggravation of trying to repair it is that it gives you a false peace of mind...you think you're prepared and protected by having this and by the time you figure out it's not going to work there's a hurricane coming at you and it's too late to do anything.Complete waste of money, not at all durable, patch kit a joke.
