This book give me a better outlook on Victorian head stones and what certain symbols mean.

This is a very interesting and well researched book. Easy to read but full of some great facts that you wouldn't even consider when strolling around graveyards.

Excellent reference. Some American stuff I ignored but all seemingly well researched and easy to use once you became familiar with how she had categorised her subjects. I'm using it a lot as I'm a cemetery tour guide!

Wonderful guide

This is not an impressive book. It is neither scholarly nor suited to a generalist audience. It lacks detail, tge images are poor and it feels a low quality product. For me, a waste of money .

Has a lot of reference in the book, I was looking for a particular symbol and I found it in here, so much information.
