Very satisfied and easy to install.
Only took 5-10 mins to fit and sounds great with the straight through exhaust and supercharger. Very good value from this seller considering the mainstream prices. A previous review also recommended resetting the ECU... I done this also and the fuel economy seems to have improved along with the performance aspect of the car. This is obviously a subjective view though. Opted for the supersaver free delivery and even came quicker than expected. Save your money on postage costs!

Really worth it.
For a simple, insurance approved (as in you don't have to tell them) performance filter, I would highly recommend this. I had one in my previous car Focus TDCI and recognised the increased performance so had to get one for my Cooper S. Glad I did. The scream from the supercharger as it takes in a smoother feed of air makes a massive difference in acceleration and the overall ride seems less 'jerky' due to a steady fuel/air feed. MPG has increased a bit too. Would advise once you install this, you reset the car ECU (see how on any good Mini Forum board) - the reset will then work out the new air/fuel feed and give optimum performance. Go for it.

Il filtro è di ottima manifattura e si monta in pochi minuti. Faccio presente che non ho notato miglioramento nelle prestazioni dell'auto (Mini Cooper S 163 CV, compressore volumetrico), tuttavia questo è probabilmente dovuto al fatto che l'auto va con GPL (mi hanno detto che il maggior afflusso di aria tende a smagrire la miscela aria/carburante). Il vantaggio sta nel fatto che il filtro è lavabile e, tra un lavaggio e l'altro, si possono percorrere anche 50.000 km, quindi l'auto ha sempre un filtro efficiente e si evita così che si rompa il manicotto tra il filtro ed il compressore, come già mi è successo in passato a causa del filtro intasato. L'articolo è arrivato puntuale.

Las medidas que hay no son correctas, pero antes de comprarlo busque en la pagina oficial de KN y me segure del codigo del filtro. Todo bien.

Better performance easily identified the first day. I had a cone filter (Cold Air Intake - CAI) and was not using the stock box, which actually defeated the purpose of a CAI as it would get heat soaked and the supercharger would not provide boost immediately. At WOT (wide open throttle) at 3K rpm it would rev to 4.5K rpm with nominal acceleration achieved. With K & N panel filter in stock box, which is a true CAI, also the same set up as Alta or any other aftermarket, the air is not heat soaked and WOT at 3K rpm the car accelerates and the revs don't just jump up without any actual performance. MCS R53, 2003, 15% Craven pulley, MSD ignition coil and wires, NGK plugs. Thanks!!!!
