I really love this tool.
So I didn’t think that it could get better than the vacuum pen I have, but it alerts my dog to the fact that I’m paying attention to something other than him and while I still think it’s a great pen, since I quickly went from knowing nothing about Diamond painting to becoming an enthusiast and actually understanding the function of the clay, etc I wanted to give it a try. I got it in purple and I love it. I feel like I prefer tools that are heavier in my hand for balance and accuracy and this fulfills that. Most of all, I love that rather than poking at wax, it comes from the inside of the pen. That part, admittedly takes a little practice to get used to because the very slightest push to move the top is all you need. Any more than very slight movement and you will end up extruding too much of the clay. It’s very easy to use once you are used to it. A little goes a long way and you’ll be surprised and how slight the movement is to get just enough. It doesn’t come in a variety of colors, it eliminates the step of having to push your tool into the clay, which is very convenient. I have no problem with the wax that it comes with, but to refill it, if you have a favorite brand, it shows you how to roll it up to use any clay that you prefer. The size is comparable to the vacuum pen as well as the weight. I find it comfortable to use and the barrel is as thick as a quality pen. For me, it’s a good fit. I love that the other end works as a tool to push your gems into line and make it look so much better. Very happy with this purchase although I do love my vacuum pen and I will no doubt use both. It’s great to have a portable compact portion to bring projects on the go and not require outlets. Well worth the cost.

Awesome!
This pen is awesome! The weight takes getting used to if you have only used the free pen that comes with every diamond painting. It was slippery so I put painters tape around it and slid a pencil grip onto it. To get the right amount wax, you don't need to twist the top very much - it's more like a slight tap. I have not had to refill it yet but it doesn't seem like it will be that difficult. I am very happy that I don't have to poke a wax square every other drill! I would recommend this and will buy another if something happens to the one I have.

The Benote Diamond Painting Pen makes diamond dotting quicker.
Diamond Painting Pen was shipped promptly and just as ordered. It makes diamond painting easier in that the wax is right there at your fingertips. When the pen will not pick up diamond dot anymore, you just turn the end of the pen to push a little more wax into the tip and you are good to continue. It only takes a slight turn to advance enough wax to allow the pen to pickup the diamond dot. This pen is a little heavier than the plastic ones that come with the kits, but after you use it awhile you get accustomed to the feel of it. I would definitely purchase again.

Don’t hesitate to get this tool.
I don’t write many reviews but I thought I should for this product. It is an absolute game changer. It is so easy to use and makes much more sense than stabbing at the wax squares. I tried the vacuum type but they were bulky and difficult to use and just when I’d get a groove going the battery would die. No such worries with this little gem!! I love it!!!

Overall pretty good and worth the money
So it's kinda hard to put wax in but rarely have to refill. It's pretty hard to get right amount of wax out but if you just get rid of the tiny bit of excess it works really well. Much less aggravating than the little cheap ones that come with diamond art. Would buy again but does have some tiny things I wish were different. Better than vacuum ones and much better than cheap ones so favorite so far

Best pen ever
I have the electric pen but love this pen the best.easy to Handel and don’t have to dip in wax for each dot. I tool the wax and if I buy the wax in the fridge for 10 min you can roll the wax to fit your chamber. When in use just roll the pen where the wax is just at the top barely you can do many dots an not have a bunch of wax to wipe off. Experiment you will get it o also love the bar on end to straighten the rows as you go along I have many kind of pens but this is my favorite

The best for diamond painting.
This is the best for picking up drills. It also picks up rhinestones replacing my tweezers. It's been 3 months and the pen is wobbling at the join where you disconnect to put in the wax. So it lasts 3 months with heavy use. I'm buying another one.

Saves time.
Works great. Saves time with putting wax on the pen. I was having issues with it also drying up fast and then having to replace wax on my pen in the middle of working on a section. This has completely changed that. Only refill when needed.
