I recently got two 1/2 gallon Ball Jars for Sweet Tea & Lemonade I made. I didn’t want to use the metal lids that came with the jars. I bought these plastic lids to use with all my Ball jars I have (I use them regularly for all sorts of things)The lids were packed together in a box. The silicone rings need to be placed in each lid. Not difficult at all. (There’s a little scoop tool to make removing the rings for cleaning, easier)I love all the colors! They’re bright and very pretty! (think of childrens toys. The vibrancy of each color)The thickness of the lids are high quality. They’re sturdy and fit the jars perfectly.The price was good as I always look for a deal.These lids don’t leak. I shook & shook and still no leaks. They are easy to take on & off too.I recommend these and will be repurchasing if needed.

I tested these out with and without the silicone seal. They work equivalent to the white and gray Ball lids. Without the seal, they work well, but will leak if you shake it hard or leave the jar on its side. With the seal, it works pretty well to not leak. You should always test it well with a good shake, as sometimes the seal isn’t as tight as can be. I’m happy with the purchase.

I love these so much! The colors are awesome, they are leak proof, both sizes come in the package, and I've already put half of them in use! I did have a slight issue trying to remove the lid from my overnight oats, so be careful not to over tighten the lid. I may have to get another package, they are just so handy!

These work well with my Ball jars!

The lids themselves are lovely and functional. They fit perfectly on both wide mouth and regular mouth jars, providing a tight seal that keeps my preserves and sauces fresh. The quality of the lids is evident, and they are easy to screw on and off without any issues.However, there is one significant drawback that prevents me from giving these lids a full 5-star rating. The silicone rings tend to fall out when I run them through the dishwasher. It's a bit frustrating, as I prefer to clean my lids thoroughly to maintain hygiene standards. The rings should be securely attached to the lids to make cleaning and maintenance more convenient.Despite this issue, the lids themselves are durable and aesthetically pleasing. They do an excellent job of sealing my mason jars and preserving the contents inside.
