I decided to order this set after I discovered that I would need to spend nearly the same amount of money at my local Michael's store for one set of knitting needles. I have only used one of the sets to repair a sweater but I was really happy with the quality. The needles seem light weight but durable which is a real plus for me. I also like the length and the variety of the needle sizes. I am seriously considering taking up knitting again!

this set is pretty decent for a beginner. there are plenty of needle sizes to choose from and its nice that it comes with a tote to keep everything together. one star off because the circular needles don't have an etching, enraving, or stamped size anywhere on the needles, so if you throw away the individual packages, it may be difficult to remember which size is which.

I was looking for an alternative to my ChiaoGoo set when I saw this. The needles are blunt, but it has all the things I needed for knitting when traveling. It does not have all the needle sizes but as someone who prefers tight fabric, I think this is quite alright. The needles are lightweight too; I can use the circular needles for magic loop really well. It doesn't bend that easily, but I can tell the cables are durable enough.
