My living room is poorly lit, so I bought this to act as an additional light source next to the armchair. Assembly was easy; it only took a minute or two from opening the box to plugging it in. The way the lampshade goes together is highly unusual; it comes flat, and the two ends meet with Velcro. It's unexpected but not bad; the shade can't get crushed in shipping due to this design.I love the look of the lamp and I will be purchasing the matching table lamps in the future. It's unique, has a great wooden look, and is sturdy. Some people mentioned that the seams where you assemble the pieces are visible. This is accurate, but they're not that noticeable and don't bother me. Since it doesn't come in one piece, these seams are inevitable, and you can see where they are in the product photos.Another thing is that the lampshade hangs slightly crooked. Again, it will be a matter of personal preference whether it bothers you or not. This was perfect for me because I use it partially as a reading lamp, so the angle was a bonus, but I could see how this would annoy others.Overall, this is a great lamp. As someone with a more rustic taste who hates the generic "modern" lamp styles found in stores, it is exactly what I was looking for. Some of the characteristics others did not like are my favorite things about the lamp. So, consider your personal tastes and look at the photos before you buy it. If you do that, there will be no surprises, and you will be happy with it.Edit: After owning it for a few months, the lampshade has straightened itself and no longer hangs crooked. Don't understand why, but there you go.

I bought this lamp for my son’s nursery! Fit perfectly in corner of the room and went well with the theme! Easy assembly and sturdy lamp! I did give it 4 stars just because it is t the brightest light! I used different bulbs as well and gives more dim light! So depends what using it for like I said it was perfect for my sons room

A unique piece with pretty realistic wood texture. My daughter likes the cottagecore/woodland aesthetic and wanted a few whimsical pieces for her new apartment. This lamp provides great light and is a fun statement piece.

This is soo cute, and the perfect fit for my daughter’s nursery! It was easy to assemble and we love the switch being on the ground to step on. We paired it with a smart bulb and are very happy with it.

Way nicer than I expected!

I am in love with this lamp. It adds an element of nature and is quite functional. It is very solid, and was relatively easy to assemble once I freed it from the annoying Styrofoam packaging. That said, it was well packaged and arrived in great condition.

The media could not be loaded. It looks easy enough to put together, screw in each section to the one before… however, 2 of the 5 screws don’t tighten, leaving the entire lamp leaning to one side. Plus the lamp shade circle is build crooked so the whole lamp looks like it leans. I’ll need to purchase plumbers tape and physically bend the shade so it works. Not happy. Glad I waited to purchase the other 2 lamps I need.
