I absolutely love these lights. They’re perfect for my monstera. I have additional front facing lights but this is incredibly powerful. I do wish it had the option of a base instead of having to stick it in the soil because it’s a bit top heavy but I have it leaning against a shelf so it’s fine.

This light works well and is worth the cost. wish it came with a screw on base for more options but still worth the price.

This is a product I definetly needed. Living in Minnesota with limited natural light in the winter makes a grow light essential. The timer makes the product easier to use. The design is excellent. If you want to stick it right in the pot, you can, or, as I did, put it on top of my planter shelf, thus getting light to all my plants. The item puts out a lot of light and never gets too hot.

I purchased two sets of the 10" grow lights in January 2024 for my large monstera deliciosa plant. In every box, it seems as though there's at least one defective light. Inside of the box, they give you a bolt tightener, which I have needed despite touching this particular grow light once (to insert it into the soil). Every day that I check on my plant, it seems as though the circular part of the light has loosened up (I live alone). I walked into my plant room this morning and the circular part of the light was literally hanging from the pole. I used the bolt tightener to put it back on the pole and the light went out and is no longer working. These lights aren't cheap and it's a little frustrating that I'm now outside of the return window. I have tried emailing the company via the email provided in the original box, but of course, no response. While the lights do work well, they seem to fall apart too easily. On to search for a better option. February 2025 Update: After my initial review, they reached out to me via Amazon to reflect the defective lights. They sent me a new set (2 lights) of lights to replace the broken light. I raised the review from a single star to 4 stars. The replacement lights are still going strong.

I bought this light for my coleus plants that I planted in a big pot for outside on my balcony. Since I live in a cold climate, I had to bring them in a few weeks ago. When I lived in California, I would have beautiful coleus plants in my house and wanted to keep my outside plants alive during the winter. Now I live in a condo with very few windows and my plants immediately started dropping their beautiful leaves once they were brought indoors. So I found this light and was hoping that it would help. There was no installation and I pushed the pole directly into the large pot I had. Almost immediately, the plants responded to this light and instead of drooping, they are starting to reach for the light. Leaves are no longer falling off and it now seems to be a happy plant. Not to mention it gives this part of my house some much needed lighting. It looks like a halo over the plants. I didn't want a light taking up space and this one works great by just sticking right into the dirt. Some reviewers have said that it falls out of the pot because the cord goes in to the light itself as opposed to be on the bottom of the pole. I have not had any problems with this. I have it set on the timer to come on at 9 in the morning and it shuts off automatically at 6. It is large enough to get all of the plants without it being to obnoxious looking. I, and my plants, love this little lamp.

I had high hopes for these lights, especially since the telescoping design makes it easy to reach the canopy of taller plants like my banana plants. Unfortunately, the performance was very disappointing. • Lifespan: Extremely short. I purchased replacements after the first set failed, but those also stopped working quickly. Four lights in total have failed. • Brightness: Not sufficient to properly support plant growth. • Timer: The lights didn’t stay consistent; even when set for 12 hours, they began turning on and off at different times after a while. • Ease of use: They are simple to operate, which is the only real positive. Overall, the concept is great, and the design is convenient, but the short lifespan, weak brightness, and unreliable timing mean my plants didn’t thrive under them. I can’t recommend these for anyone looking for long-term plant lighting. UPDATE; As another reviewer noted, the vendor reached out promptly and is replacing a faulty adapter. Changing this from one star to three stars. I didn’t receive the adapters yet, well, let’s see how it goes.

Awesome lights! Easy to put together and easy to adjust if needed. Also comes with a timer and you can adjust the level of light. For the price and functionality I would recommend this light.

I have several halo shaped grow lights, but these are my favorite. Being 10" in diameter, the light is spread out better. Plants seem to grow out more and not just up. Great for smaller and mid sized plants, not just large ones.

I have 6 of these lights now. I started out with just 2 and quickly noticed how much of a savior it was for my plants that were looking sad from low winter light. They are excellent for tall/larger plants due to how far they can extend! I do have a couple of plants that are still taller than what they can extend but they are easily zip-tied onto the support stakes of these plant which makes then expandable to any hight you might need. They do have a wide range of spectrum and brightness which makes them customizable to any plants needs. The one minor thing I would love to see improved is the controller. Nothing is actually wrong with it or the way it functions, however the lights remain turned off until you actually turn them on instead of just turning on as soon as power is connected to them. I would love to have these light operate off of a smart plug so I can further customize the exact on and off times to correspond with the time of year, but as soon as a smart plug would turn them off, they would not come back on with the next cycle unless I manually turn them back on. This is also another concern as I quite often am away from home and have someone house sitting for me. If the power goes out, or the breaker trips for some reason, that is a lot to put on a house sitter to make sure these are all set correctly again. - Again, not a bit deal which is why I still gave it 5 stars, just something I would love to see improved. Overall value for these lights in a 2 pack is unbeatable though!

For a full-spectrum white LED light this works pretty well (though not as well as the red/blue full spectrum lights) and the ring style has a more attractive finished look than the rectangular kind that are just sheet metal. The height is good and it stays at full extension despite it being a narrow "fishing pole" style as opposed to the kind that let you lock each extension in place with a wingnut. The ring itself does not like to stay put, however, and will happily fall over any time you touch after getting it set in place it so I'm taking 1 star off for that. It seems to give just enough light for a Janet Craig dracaena and a schefflera/umbrella plant (both are indirect light plants) at full brightness set for 12 hours so it may not be ideal for plants requiring full direct sunlight and, overall, I'm happy with this purchase despite the instability of the ring.

Great light source. I had an old tripod that I attached the light to so it's separate from the plants. I prefer that to sticking it into the plant soil. The light is heavy so the pole must be secure or it can tip over. I had it in the plant pot but it had to go into the soil deep enough so it would stand. That is why I chose to attach it to a tripod. I have it at it's maximum height which is why it must be secure and the tripod was a good fix. Superb light source as long as you can keep it secure
