Very bright on alkalines but not sure where to buy the much more powerful rechargeable battery..

initial comments: I need a light that is dim red light for at night (have to get up a lot during the nt, but don't want to fully wake up when I do, or I can't get back to sleep).....this serves that purpose well. I also need a super bright light for another use, & it works well on the white light for that. I've had it for a little while now, & aside from occasionally reverting to the wrong color (not often & only when initially turned back on - the otehr colors will still work when switched back), it is exactly what I need. I would give it five stars if not for the occasionally reverting back to the wrong color.......... Edited to say that after having this a couple of months, it stopped remembering the previous color much at all, which is a problem for needing to not wake up when using it at night......was still mostly happy with it, but after a little longer it stopped working all together (& no, it wasn't the battery, though that was another issue - in that short amount of time, I had to replace the batteries twice & it takes 3 of them). I should add that while I used it every night to get to the bathroom & back, & used the white light very very briefly almost daily, overall, I didn't get much usage time out of it at all, esp for the price. (I only had it barely over 4 months). I wish it had lived up to its initial function. It WAS really nice.
