This moisturizer has all the "right" buzz words (vegan, cruelty-free, non-toxic, clean, Made in the USA, etc.) and a noticeable lack of the "wrong" ones (phthalates, SLS, parabens, artificial colors, artificial fragrance, etc.). I strongly prefer a vegan (or at least cruelty-free) formulation and I don't like added fragrances or colors in my facial skincare, so they've got my attention.The cream has a thin cream texture and a mild scent of lemon that lingers for a short while before dissipating. It contains shea butter, jojoba oil, hyaluronic acid (all for softening and hydrating) plus lemon oil (either for the scent or for the vitamin C, I would imagine, depending on how much is in here).Applying it to my skin, this cream went on very smoothly and left my skin feeling soft and gently moisturized. I didn't notice any greasy or sticky residue. My skin immediately feels less rough (shout out to winter weather for drying my face out!) and dry. As it sinks in, it leaves my skin feeling like a baby's butt it's so smooth and soft.Verdict: I would strongly consider buying another bottle of this. The value is fine, but could maybe be a little better since it's not hugely different than many other moisturizers I own, other than the heftier price tag. It has been an absolute dream for my skin. It hydrates well, I've experienced no allergic reactions, and my skin looks and feels years younger.I love that the product is made in USA. I love that it is designed for use by those of us with chemo- and radiation-damaged skin. I love that it works amazingly well, especially given the spendy price tag.I love the scent, too. It's a soft citrus-y scent that reminds me of the lemon pies my late mother used to bake. They were my favorite, and every time I apply this moisturizer, it brings back wonderful memories.I am thoroughly impressed with this moisturizer.
