I like short ingredient lists - and this one is short. Simply says one ingredient: Tamarind Extract. And man, I think it tastes great. Give it a stir as it settles a slight amount. My wife uses this when making Sinigang Baboy. Delicious!

Use in chamoy and others

Fantastic sour/sweet flavor. I use it to make pad thai and hard rock candy.The only down side is the foil seal under the cap. Even when i buy this a few towns away, i find leaking issues. Toss it around, on its side, upside down and you can have leaking issues. This one leaked a little bit but its a foil seal issue, nothing else. It was a very minor leak, messy though. I kept it, transfered it to a jar, already made pad with it. The leak cost a star.
