7/31/25. Issue resolved quickly. Received replacement. Very satisfied!Great product initially. Took on trips and worked very well.Very disappointed as less than a year after purchasing the rod failed. The tip section broke.For $60, I expected this rod to last much longer.A replacement or refund is warranted.

Edit: Ive had to super glue the 2nd eyelet a few times on the rod. Rod is definitely cheap but convenient. Its held up to some decent fish and hasn't snapped yet. Caught 50 fish or more and it's doing fine.I got it on sale was $51 total. For that price it's definitely worth it. The reel feels really smooth and sturdy. The rod was fine and has a nice sensitivity. I used the line it came with and it works just fine, not the best line in the world but gets the job done. The tip of the rod is the weak point of everything it feels cheap, but it is cheap lol. Landed 2 decent sized crappie with 0 issues. ✌️ Who knows how long the rod will hold up but you can always put the reel on a better pole.

This rod was great! Durable rod, looks nice, feels great, it also has prefect portability AND I can easily feel fish. And many more good things about this rod the fact that I had an alligator on my rod and it did not snap is excellent for its price! This rod is exceptional for beginners even for more experienced people. By the way I’m not a bot whenever it gets to reviews I always have to be my formal self LOL💀💀😂

Bought two of these poles for my grandchildren for Christmas. The whole idea was that they were transportable and came with a very nice carrying case. We could use them whenever and wherever. Well they came to visit us at shore this past summer and they brought their poles and we put them together. I was very pleased with the assembly process and the quality of the reel. Well it turned out to be a very windy week and we never were able to go fishing over by the bay. Well now the problem…..we cannot take the poles apart no matter how hard we try and other family members have even tried. We tried so hard that we broke one of the eyes and still no luck. Both rods were impossible to break down. We tried every idea on the internet including Sougayilangs suggestion which was also on the internet. I suppose other people have had the same problem with their poles. Nothing but nothing will break these poles down. The worst part of this whole deal is the company that supposed to have such great customer service has never ever returned one of my emails and there have been several and a phone number is impossible to find. I might add that these poles have never even touched water they are new never used. If you are thinking about purchasing fishing poles I would think twice about buying Sougayilang. There is no customer service regardless of what they say. I am one very very disappointed customer.

Just receive it haven’t used it as yet but it’s looks good i love it very easy to use it worth every penny also the quality is not bad

Not a bad rod I used it a bunch but after a little bit the eye glue started to come off and then about a month later the whole tip of the rod snapped. Could be poor care taking but I don’t think I would but again.
