Jakemans Throat & Chest Menthol Cough Suppressant Anise - 30 Lozenges (3 Pack)

It's very difficult to find licorice-flavored lozenges in stores these days, so I ordered these, and am very pleased with their quality!

In a word, effective! Pleasant flavor.

I USUALLY have at least one a day it keeps my throat feeling wonderful.

When I purchased these, I wasn't aware these would come in 3 bags! Definitely MY oversight!For the record, I'm not a fan of licorice and thought I would give it a try based on reviews. However, had I known this would be a 3 bag purchase I would have NEVER purchased them!Upon trying them you can definitely taste the licorice and menthol, but it did not soothe my throat as I thought a menthol lozengier would. I like the Jakemans brand, however, this is one flavor that I'm not a fan of because I don't like licorice. Although, one that don't mind the taste of licorice might enjoy this flavor!

I consume quite a few cough drops because of allergic asthma and other issues. These are the best by far. They aren't too sweet, and they last a long time. Get them! You won't be sorry.

Normally I love these lozenges the best out of all the Jakeman's, but the packages I received today, January 20th, 2022, are not the large, more effective English lozenges. These are the tiny, sugary US version. The large anise ones are really great and if you can get them, do so. They're perfect because they last about an hour and I take one before I hop on public transportation.These little ones last about 15 minutes max and are hardly large enough to last me a bus ride to the local grocer. If you're gonna sell the inferior version, please indicate this in your listing. Both lozenge packages are 100g but since Americans are such babies and don't like anise, the US version has less of the "flavoring oil" (food-grade essential oil). It's the anise that makes these so good. It's a known antimicrobial (you can look this up in peer-reviewed research if you're up for it). Super annoyed with this seller/listing for the bait & switch. Three stars because they're still better than most throat lozenges out there.

I love these lozenges. If you are gluten free and enjoy licorice, you will love them as well. The size is perfect...not the usual small cough drop. They really work with my bronchitis problems. The hint of menthol works to clear congestion somehow. I am hooked and will keep a stash of these for sure. Thanks for stocking them.EDIT: OCTOBER 27, 2019Re-ordered these and got the SMALL ONES that I hate. Threw them in the trash! Hate when I don't get what I actually ordered. If you're a fan of the original larger ones, like me, do not order these. Not even sure what to try next to get what I want!
