Put fragrance in a glass with water and drop the the empty container inside it slowly fills back up. Takes 1hour to fill. I have been refilling mine for ages now

Hello, the answer to your question is....I had the same trouble, mine did not work properly neither, I also put new batteries in but no luck, just one puff like you, personally I don't think it's a good design.....shame really because the scent it came with was lovely. It's very easy to set the time, there are little dots on the bottom of the black " gadget ", the higher you go the more scent it should let out & a blue light should light up at the top.....nothing happened with mine and it went in the bin. Just wasted my money on it....Hope this helps !!!
