The RG35XX Plus handheld gaming console has been an impressive addition to my collection. Its 3.5-inch IPS screen is sharp, with vibrant colors and great viewing angles, making gaming enjoyable from any position. The H700 quad-core processor delivers fast and smooth gameplay, even for more demanding games. I love the wide game support, especially being able to play PSP and PS1 classics. With 16GB internal storage and expandable memory, I've been able to load plenty of games. WiFi connectivity is a plus for updates and downloads. It’s compact, sleek, and overall a great device for retro gaming fans!

I was so excited about this product. I wanted to get it for my kids so they could play all the old games. But the device didnt work out of the box. First off it would charge. Then it wouldnt power on. Now it cant seem to get past the load screen. If you go online looking for advice, you will find that basically everyone who buys one of these devices has to either download new firmware and put it on a new sd card (which means downloading a giant 48g file from a Chinese manufacturer... what could go wrong!? A lot. I have a feeling these devices might be a sneaky way to get some malware on your computer. I would just get a Nintendo switch. It will give you far fewer headaches.

This definitely a must have for retro console game lovers to carry all your favor games literally anywhere for hours of entertainment.

I LOVE this thing. I was playing Pokemon and it was so nostalgic and fun. The concept of it is great if you’re into retro games. I told alot of people and they went and ordered it for themselves or their kidsBut recently it’s been acting a little funky. I played with it and turned it off when I was done. I went to turn it on and it didn’t turn on. I restarted it literally 5 times. I mean left it for over a minute before I restarted it again and it just stays on the “Anbernic” screen. But eventually it turned on, I was super excited !So I played with it and was scared to turn it off but I did because the standby drains tf outta of the battery. So today I went to turn it on and it is not moving from the Anbernic screen. I’m so sad I have to return this. It was fun while it lasted ☹️☹️

My daughter has enjoyed this game for the past 7 months. I would definitely buy it for a child just getting into gaming. Many options to add more games and it comes with a lot installed too!

I have tested a few emulation devices from Amazon and was always left disappointed and quite frankly, lied to. However, this breaks that mold.This is a true emulation device with thousands of old and known video games. However, this is more of the base model when it comes to Anbernic devices so, with this specific model, RG35XX Plus, you will not have all video games pre-loaded. For example, this device has zero N64 games.I’ve tested about 5 games from this device for several hours and this is what I observed. Picture quality is excellent, vibrant; however, I did run into a few stutters. Sound is good for its’ little speaker, but it also has a 3.5mm jack for headphones (which I used and it worked good). Comfort leaves a lot to be desired. It is a small unit and after an hour or so, my fingers and joints were hurting from being in a cramped position. Battery life is really dependent on the games chosen to play. For example, an NES game will play a lot longer than a PS1 game. This device does have a suspend feature (similar to the Steam Deck) where you can instantly pause game. You can also save any game file.Price is a little high (about $86 at time of review) compared to some Social Media sites that also sell the Anbernic devices. Overall, this is a true emulation device and I think it’s worth the price if you enjoy retro gaming. Four out of Five stars only due to the fact I cannot play the device comfortably for long, otherwise, it would be a five star product.

The RG35XX Plus works great right out of the box. While it's not one of the highest-end handhelds, it does an amazing job emulating Gameboy Color games and many others from old retro systems. The screen quality and sound are very good for a unit at its price point. If you want to play newer games or anything past N64 graphics-wise, then you will need a more powerful handheld. But for '90s games, it works amazing!

Well first problem was it was stuck on the loading screen. After I got that fixed and actually got it to boot up, I couldn’t get a single game to launch. I gave two stars for how fast it arrived and that it actually even turned on. I was hoping to at least get to play with it a bit before I would have to reflash a card and all new ROMs for it but no. Not at all.
