Beautiful!
Top quality (Evans ⭐️) muted sound which I love, and super easy to tune.

Quite a different Drum head - in a good way
Bought one of these for the 10" tom to test and the result is:This is very easy to tune and gives a really nice fat sound, which is really what its says it will do on the box and what most of the professional reviewers conclude as well.So if that's the sound you want then you won't be disappointed!Oh and apparently they last a long time - Always goodWould I buy again - Yes.

Love these.
Decided to try a couple of these to match the wraps on my Sonor Force kit and Wow!I've been playing drums for 49 years and tried all kinds of skins and makers. These sound amazing. For those that are wary, the colour doesn't come off. In fact, they seem to handle heavy hits better than normal white skins or clear. The tuning was simple too. Tightened the lugs by hand, then one turn of the drum key and I was good to go.I started with my two main toms and have now ordered the rack tom sizes. Will get the 16" floor skin as soon as finances allow.I got a white Remo snare skin but really wish I'd got the red Evans now. They look great and sound amazing.Oh! And they dont need dampening either.Just buy 'em. They're incredible.

As advertised
As advertised. Standard Evans top quality. Really “thuddy” rock sound which is what I was after.

Works for micro kits
I have a micro kit (cafekit odery) and I needed a skin for the bass drum. Since the 14" superkick 2 by aquarian is not available in the UK, I decided on this hydraulic by evans. My thinking was that a layer of oil could help damping the sound of the small bass drum to get a more "deaf" sound. After some tweaks, I was able to get the sound I was looking for. I tuned it very low and used a fleeced beater (mine was a sock on top of the beater).

Quality and easy to tune.
I have 1980's Gretsh USA's and they are quite lively. Maybe in essence they are drums suited more to jazz. Fitting red hydralic's makes them fit in the rock-pop enviroment. I use a drum dial to set them up with the resonant head tuned slightly higher. I think after many years and many head experiments I have found my head of choice. Whether this stops me buyings other heads (highly unlikely).

Bought as a gift
Unhappy with state of the box the drum head came in. This was bought as a gift and the box has been squashed in the post, other than that happy with the product

Easy tune, minimul overtones
Punchy , easy tune, minimul overtones, look great , Ideal when using mic's , it's all down to personal preference, if you need your kit to sound lively, maybe in a jazz style then probably not the head for the job ! on the other hand to get rid of the moongel's and get more punch , this is the head !
