Dental Hygienist recommended
I’m a Dental Hygienist and I REALLY love this floss. I use to use Dr Tungs Smart floss, but I went up significantly in price . I bought David’s floss to try since it was less expensive and said it was an expanding floss also. I just finished my second spool of David’s floss and I am about to purchase 2 more spools. I think it works just as well, if not better than Dr Tungs Smart floss. Both Dr Tungs and David’s floss are a thicker floss so they can be difficult to use for Very tight teeth. The expanding type flosses do a much more thorough job of cleaning between your teeth.

refillable floss that tastes good
This is a good floss that gets the job done. It's not too harsh on the gums, and the peppermint taste is natural, and it just feels good. It's so far my number 2 floss. It's thick enough where it can get to stuck food, but it's not too thick where you can't even get in between the gums. I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. This is a decent price for a good amount of floss. It lasts longer than my other floss brands.I'm a floss enthusiast, so I have so many organic flosses from so many brands. My number 1 floss brand I recommend is Dr. Tungs, but I don't like the price. It's too high. I think if Dr. Tungs could just have refillable floss, I wouldn't have to pay such a high price for floss. This is better priced because you are getting a refill, and they don't have to make another container for the floss: you just reuse it. How obvious, yet I don't see many brands doing this. That's why this is my number 2 floss right now because they are reusing the container. The container needs a little bit of work, so that's the only con. Some parts came off when I tried to refill it, and I had to put it back on, so no biggy, but they gotta work on that.I also would prefer for them to use non-nano hydhroxyapatite. But yes, don't listen to the negative reviews. This floss is well-priced for the amount they give you. I would like the price to be lower, but well, we're not living in the 90s.I floss my teeth after every meal, and I highly recommend for everyone to take better care of your teeth. Teeth and gums are super important for almost everything: communication, eating, expressing yourself: getting your needs met. Take care of your teeth, and floss at least twice a day. I am a little bit less strict about my Waterpik: I wish I had more time for everything you're supposed to do on a daily basis for your teeth, but with floss, I feel compelled to floss after almost every meal, so I know a lot about floss, and this one is a good contender. I even carry floss with me because it's important to take care of your teeth and gums, so that you reach older age with great teeth.

Good product as long as your teeth are very close together.
I love this product. It does a good job but I have one place where the teeth are very close to each other. The floss shreds on its out...difficult to get in initially because it is a little wider than other floss.

Best (but not perfect) for narrow spacing
Been looking for PFA free floss for tight teeth spaces for a while now. It seems like there are actually none on the market. I cannot use silk bc it doesn't fit between my teeth. While this uses material from recycled water bottles, I have read that polyester (and nylon) are better than something like Teflon, tho it's still made from petrolium.PROS:- works great on narrowly spaced teeth and does not break- hydroxyapatite coated to help clean between teeth- able to purchase replacement rolls so you can re-use the caseCONS:- the case is plastic- the floss is made of polyester (so is Dr. Tung's)When a natural and biodegradable brand comes out with a floss that doesn't shred or break and is good for narrow teeth I will be the first to try that one. For the time being, this is my pick.

Awesome Floss!
This is really nice floss--it's a bit thicker than some, which we like. It feels like it's really cleaning well between our teeth. The package came with a full roll plus a refill, which is nice. We will definitely continue to buy this floss!

Great floss, replacement rolls missing instructions
really like this floss - in general is really great + gets stuck far less often than GUM brand in my teeth. I purchased it because I'm committed to making more sustainable choices + was attracted to the refillable option - so 5 stars for all of that.1 star though, for the actual replacement packaging + lack of replacement instructions. Its not super intuitive how you open the existing plastic case without damaging it. I replaced my roll without realizing that the metal cutting blade fell out when I opened it and now I have a roll in there without a cutter so I'm having to use scissors to cut it, which really stinks.

Really decent floss
I got this Davids expanding floss for the hydroxyapatite coating. It's a nice addition to the hydroxyapatite toothpaste. Good supply at 66 yards. The taste isn't remarkable. I guess mild mint would be how to describe it. Easy tear off with the metal clip. So far the floss has held up without breaking when going through tight areas between the teeth. There has been some shredding, but not enough that strands would get caught and require extra effort to remove.I had been a fan of coco floss until this came up - I've since switched over to Davids.
