CamelBak Hot Cap Accessory - Replacement Cap, Black

I use this with an insulated steel cycling bottle as a glorified commuter mug and it is awesome. It doesn't leak and it disassembles to make cleaning easier. Highly recommended.

This is the best hot drink lid I've used, better than my Yeti! Like the screw top feature, it's very secure. Use it almost daily for hot drink on the commute to work.

Fits my original CamelBak Cup.... The inner sealing ring came out of the original top...ordered this and it works like new.

I've used many different travel mugs and insulated bottles but have never been able to find a lid that both works as a hot-beverage lid and completely prevents leaks. This one is cheap, durable and will securely close and stay closed when tightened. The edge that protrudes over the rotating valve works great for sipping hot liquids and protects the valve from being bumped or inadvertently opened when stowed away in a bag. Keep an eye on the rubber O-ring on the inside of the lids for all Camelbak lids. I've noticed that they tend to become discolored or have substances trapped underneath or around it which can house bacteria and rot if not mitigated. The O-ring can be removed, with some effort and patience, using a paper clip or a flat head screwdriver as needed. Very happy with this quality product.

This is exactly what I need, a top that will not accidentally open in my saddle bag or in my wet bag while paddle boarding. The problem is it takes a second to close and to hands so you will let is sit open more often then if it just clicked closed. Then you might quickly throw it into your bag without twisting it closed. I use this on the Chute Mag 25oz and that holds heat so well it never cools so you have to keep it open to cool and then maybe forget its open. I was so use to clicking my old vessel every time i set it down, this takes two hands to close. Its really a trade off

I received this today and was so disappointed! Either I don't know how to screw on a lid, or mine is defective. It just turns and turns but doesn't actually screw onto the bottle. It seems to be the right size, and my research on their website says it will fit, but there's just no way to get it to thread properly. Returning.***Revised my rating because I learned that a 20 stainless Camelbak Chute is NOT the same as a 20 oz Camelback Chute Mag bottle. Evidently, even though they look almost identical, the caps are different and the threads are as well. This lid does, indeed, fit the correct bottle. Read the bottle description carefully to make sure you have the Chute MAG bottle and this will work beautifully.
