Does the job
I use to secure my bike to the bike carrier on my campervan. It performs this task well and even after getting covered in road spray/salt multiple times the lock remains in good condition thanks to the protective cap.

Exactly what I wanted. The cable is really good. The lock could be better but it works well. Let's be honest here. If it is to protect something really expensive you will not be buying this. It is a good deterrent and a good choice to protect a certain price range. It has worked for me. You have to consider the fact I have been using it constantly for almost a year., Good choice and really pleased.

Don't Use as Shown in Product Illustration
It's as expected. Very lightweight and only to deter the opportunistic thief. But it's really easy to carry and I like having the long cable so I can feed it through the frame, both wheels and something solid. Stops someone wheeling your bike away or throwing it quickly in the back of a van. But the loops are big enough to slip over the padlock so they must be fastened together - not fed one through the other as shown in the product picture.

Perfect for shed stuff
Used to lock up jetwash hose etc... decent for that kind of added security. Not for bike.
