Strong enough to hold my marriage together.
Used this to fix a hole at the bottom of my pool! 2 years ago! Still holding up. Stuff is sticky like ice&water. Also patched around wire and plumbing in my camper to stop the mice from traveling. Pretty stretchy. Great tape

Stickier than flypaper coated in molasses and pine tar!
INSANELY sticky adhesive on this stuff. If you are doinbg larger pieces, get them in position and hold them there with some masking tape. Then, start peeling the backing off, and roll it down a little at a time. Much easier, and no mistakes.Anyone who complains it fell off must have put it onto a surface that is not recommended, because this is BRUTAL to remove from a proper (and properly prepared) surface.I've had 75 feet of it on my RV for 3 years now. It looks like the day I put it on.

This stuff is STICKY. Holy cow.
Wow. I have never used an adhesive tape this sticky. It works VERY well on the seams of my old camper. No leaks since I installed this and a roof coating. Im giving this stuff 5 stars because it helped me finish off the roof of a 40 year old beater camper. Here's the quick rundown:Adhesion -- incredibly strong. Tightly grips anything it touches.Moldability -- Very flexible. No problems here.Ease of use -- Good. The plastic that comes attached to the sticky side of the tape is hard to remove, but comes off in one piece easily when started. Also, as it should be: This tape is difficult to cut.Other: If you choose to buy this stuff, do NOT try and use long strips of it at one time unless you have help. I ruined about 40 feet of a roll by cutting strips that were too long. When I removed the plastic from the adhesive side, any part of the tape that curled up or touched a bit of the adhesive was instantly and permanently stuck for good.Still give it 5 stars for the fact that my dumpy old camper is dry. :)

Little tricky to apply but will be there forever.
This is my second roll l have purchased. First time use was on motorhome for roof seam and new skylight installation. Very happy with end result. I have yet to use on second project which will be on bare aluminum carport transition seam which isn't that critical because of an overlap. My only con is that backing can be somewhat changeling to separate. Fortunately I was working with 2-4 ' pieces. On a 75deg day I found if I put the in the freezer for a couple minutes, peeling the backing was super easy. By the time I got back on the roof of the motorhome it was soft and ready to apply. I know this will not work for longer runs.My next job will be a 12' run and I may have to do it in a few pieces, which will be ok.

It works
Recently used this to reseal the roof of my 1996 Jayco tent trailer. The roof wasn't leaking but it was showing it's age. I'd recaulked the seems but didn't trust the 22 year old joints to hold up to many more winters without help, particularly the center seem. This product covered the joints nicely. I was careful to not expect the tape to stick to anywhere I had previously caulked, as the product warns it won't stick to silicone. After doing the center seem and mostly being pleased with the results, I decided to also do the outside edge. This meant wrapping around the corners. This stuff doesn't go down rolled edges without help (e.g. cutting to allow it to bend appropriately and stay flat) so I was nervous about doing the corners well. All in all I think it turned out pretty good! I started from the bottom of the corner, because this stuff tends to stretch a little as you work with it and I didn't want to end up with some ugly, visible and uneven bottom edge. I cut the product back at the two points of the curve where it needed to bend, just far enough into the curve so that I could overlap the top flap over the bottom and water would still run out and down. After all four corners were done I then wrapped the outer edge of the roof down to the top edge of the "gutter" provided by the awning rail. I did trim that piece to the width I wanted so that it would come out looking like the same width as I had used at the corners (which was full width). I then caulked a few of the joint areas of the tape and then, finally, painted the entire roof with a product designed for RV roofs. The final picture shows the final product. Now to see how long the stuff holds up...

Perfect Solution
I am a fulltime TT resident. I noticed a crack in the roofing membrane over one of the slides, right at the edge. I cleaned the area with soap and water, rinsed it well, then kept it covered until repair tape arrived. I then cleaned the entire area with denatured alcohol as was recommended. I measured and cut the length I would need, peeled the protective plastic off the adhesive side on one edge the entire length and gently placed it along a metal bracket running from the trailer to the far edge of the slide. Once it was straight, and pressed securely in place, I removed the protective plastic off the rest of the adhesive side, and pressed it up and over the roof edge, then took a hand roller used for flooring and pressed it firmly all over onto the existing roof. It states it will not stick to silicone, so I avoided the areas the appeared to possibly have some. Hardest part for this 68 year old widow was going up and down the ladder. Cleaning the area and applying the product was easy, and I don't have to replace the entire roof of the slide due to that crack. Happy Camper!
