Love this Mac n Cheese!
I have been dairy free for 8 years now, and I miss the original Kraft Mac n cheese. I was super excited to try it, however, the original version is not very good. The white cheddar version is much better. Not a fan of the shells, but I just use the powder with my own noodles. Seeing that the white cheddar is always out of stock, I’m thinking it is the more popular one. Ditch the original, swap out the noodles with the white cheddar, and you have a much better product!

Great buy
This Dairy Free mac & cheese has a great flavor! We buy it all of the time. We use creamy oat milk and a dairy free butter when we cook it. Great flavors && Great price!

Tastes Great
This plant based mac and cheese is so good. I've tried a lot of mac and cheese substitutes over the years, and most of them don't taste great. I think this one is really good. It's a white cheddar version, so it doesn't taste like the way I remember the original Kraft mac and cheese tasting, but it is yummy.I made it using lactose-free, but not non-dairy products, but it can be made using whatevertype of non-dairy milk and butter you are comfortable with.If you make it using a non-dairy milk that is sweet, you may not like the taste as much.I saw a couple reviews complaining about the price. I personally think it is very reasonable for a plant based, no dairy product that works for vegans, lactose-free and dairy free diets. Most of the time any specialty foods are much more expensive. As someone who hasn't had the original Kraft mac and cheese for years, it was a fun treat!

Glad I tried this
The white cheddar is pretty good, best vegan boxed mac I've tried- usually just making it at home is way better (and frankly that might still be better than this one) but this is not bad at all. I'd reccomend using a little less plant based milk and butter than it calls for, as usual the vegan cheese flavor isnt super strong and it comes out just a tad too watery if you follow directions exactly.

Real mac and cheese, for vegans!
I finally did it. I caved and got the plant-based white cheddar-style Kraft macaroni and cheese. Thus, I present my play-by-play observations:-It calls for 1/4 cup of non-dairy milk and 4 tablespoons of vegan butter... Which is the same thing. But sounds better, like you didn't just put half a stick of butter in your single serving meal?-Yes I'm aware it claims to be 2 servings, but let's be real.-I know there's a picture on the box but I forgot that these were shells. Why are they shells? Why does only the fluorescent orange type get elbows?-Okay I'm not mad about the shells. They're a better choice, texturally, if less nostalgic.-The flavor is so familiar! Is it something I remember pre-vegan, though, or just reminiscent of another cheese substitute? I'm not sure.-It's actually pretty good. Nothing earth-shaking here, but they did it right. What a happy surprise!-I'd get it again, but use much less butter. My stomach will hate me tomorrow.

White Cheddar is definitely better
We were really excited to finally try the Kraft / Not Milk partnership vegan Mac and Cheese product line. The Original flavor definitely tastes good and had a great cheesy texture, but it was definitely a bit sweeter and had a slight after taste. The White Cheddar on the other hand had a much more pleasant and less sweet flavor than the original. Texture wise these were both 5 star, but even though they were very good and close to the original Kraft versions, I have had a couple better tasting (and healthier) vegan boxed Mac and Cheese (Modern Table, please make a return!!!). With that said I would definitely buy these again, but I would also say I have to be in the mood for these ones and I hope they look into improving the flavors. Also of note these boxes were only 6 oz. which is a little disappointing considering the price point and it's not like this product is organic or made of high price ingredients. Please make more interesting vegan flavor options and make these boxes equivalent to the original sizes.

I really wanted to like this. I hated it.
So here's the deal: I have been vegan since 1997. I have tried every single vegan mac & cheese on the market (in a box) since then, and I am shocked and disappointed that Kraft is among the absolute worst. It is hard to comprehend how bad this is. Sweet and disgusting is the most accurate description. It could not be saved, even with my go-to helpers (Miyoko's butter, Oatly full-fat milk, and nutritional yeast). What a shame. I have craved Kraft mac & cheese since 1997, and this was such a letdown. As another Amazon reviewer mentioned, Annie's is better, although Annie's definitely needs help (see above go-to helpers). In the end, I hope that Kraft reformulates this awful "cheese" powder so that it is at least similar to their original mac & cheese in taste.
