If you have this older style sliding door from the early 80s it sits perfectly. At least the bolt holes are in the right place and the ears on the mounting arms line up. The screws are slightly too long but easy to grind down a bit. The handle has a plastic plug on the top and bottom ends. The bottom one falls out. Bit of silicon should hold it. Overall, for the money im happy.

This handle fit perfectly over my recessed patio door. This makes opening the door much easier, and was a breeze to install.

It’s been holding up perfectly as expected. Be sure you get the exact right fit for your door. There are a few different cuts. The first handle I ordered was a slightly different cut. This one worked great and I’d certainly buy again if my other door handle needs replacing. Easy to install and at a fair price.

It was very easy to install and is heavy duty enough to open and close my heavy glass doors. It also looks super classy and was a big upgrade to my old wooden one. The installation was super easy and fit just right. Make sure to measure before you buy.

Pros - Looks Nice and fits my 1-1/8” door. - The handle is comfortable. - The instructional video posted on this listing is helpful. - 4 Hook Latches sizes. Cons - No written directions provided. - The 5mm pin on the Keyed Cylinder Lock doesn’t reach the triangular hole when installed on a 1-1/8” door causing the key to spin and not work. - The Hook Latch isn’t quite thick enough to be securely tightened by the retaining screw so sometimes won’t engage. A thin washer (not included) solved the problem. - Both exterior and interior locks are thin plastic compared to my previous lock set. - The Latch Keeper is thin and flimsy. The paint easily scrapes off and the 0.51” screws are too short to provide long term secure attachment of the Keeper. - The longest 1.37” mounting screws are silver and don’t match the black hardware. This should be an easy installation but because of various inadequacies in the hardware it took several hours of installing, re-installing multiple times, and a trip to Home Depot. On day one, I got the “Handle Set with Lock” to work properly, though the exterior keyed lock still isn’t working. Before installing the Set on the door, I put the lock set together (with the handle) and the key worked just fine. However, once installed on the door, the key no longer worked. It took well over an hour and 3 re-installs to finally discover that the 5mm pin on the cylinder lock doesn’t reach into the triangular hole on my 1-1/8” door causing the key to spin endlessly. Another issue was the Latch Keeper. I ended up using the one I had because it’s much more durable. The Keeper that comes with this set is thin, flimsy, and the screws are too short to ensure the Keeper stays put long term. I scraped the paint just by installing it. To me, that says something about quality and durability. On the Third Day after installation, at least 60% of the time the door wouldn’t lock any more. In checking it out, I found that the Hook Latch had a lot of play in it and at times would no longer be positioned correctly to go into the Latch Keeper. I uninstalled the Handle Set and found that although the Hook Latch retaining screw was tightened as far as it could go, the Latch was not secured tightly. There was a small gap between the screw and the Latch allowing it to move around. A shorter screw would not work because the raised hole where the screw goes is taller than the Hook Latch. I had to go to Home Depot to get an appropriate washer to compensate for the gap and securely tighten the Latch. So far, this seems to have solved the problem. All said, I like the look of the Handle Set and the comfortable feel of the handle. Although the handle feels durable, the rest of the hardware seems flimsy. The Set ended up being a pain to install with a lot of time spent trouble shooting. And I paid $26.86 (with tax) for a Sliding Glass Door Handle Set with an Exterior Lock that doesn’t work. That’s 3 times the price of a Set without a lock. At this point, I'm not sure how well this Handle Set will hold up. I could be facing yet another issue after posting this review. I'm being generous by giving the product 3 Stars because I like the look of it and didn't have to do any modifications to my door. But to my mind it's more accurately a 2.5 Star item.

Lock did not slide properly. Seller won't cover return shipping which is $34 on quote from UPS.

Fitted great after I had tweaked my door. Made the door look almost new and smother to open.

I thought these to replaced an old one. When my old one broke I didn’t know I could easily have it replaced. But after many years of having a door with a broken one I finally found these, after an easy search and they are fantastic. Very easy to fit. Very sturdy also and excellent value for money. It works perfectly.

Twenty minutes and it was in, And amazing delivery time. Did have to fit spacer washer in handle recess but wasn’t a problem. Very good value for money.
