Whether you have the real thing or are building a clone, if you need a repro scope you will not regret this one!
In my collection of WW2 sniper rifles, I have an all original 1942 Enfield No. 4 MK1 (T) sniper rifle. The scope mount serial even matches the rifle. However the original scope was taken off the rifle long ago. Genuine examples are hard to come-by and are normally well over $1500 since there's a lot of guys that fight for them. Also, I wanted to use this rifle, along with my M1D, for vintage sniper matches and would be paranoid with an original scope on the rifle.Enter the Numrich repro. Now it's technically a MK2 but looks very close to a MK1 and fits the same. I thought the price was very steep when I first discovered it. But a few weeks after I got tired of looking at my Enfield without a scope I took a chance and figured with Amazon's great return policy I had nothing to lose. All I can say is wow. The reticle and lenses are very clear. It fit perfectly into my original 1942 scope mount. Overall very impressed with the quality. The markings are period correct and as a whole it looks fantastic on my rifle. But it couldn't be that functional for being a repro and all right?Taking it to the range for the first time I found the adjustments on the scope have a nice solid click to them, not spongy at all. The rifle zero'd easily with only a couple rounds at 100 yards. Now for the true test, how bad would the zero shift after actually shooting a couple rounds though it. The answer? I have no idea. Over 600 rounds and counting and the scope has still held it's 100 yard zero perfectly!!! Whether you have the real thing or are building a clone, if you need a repro scope you will not regret this one!

Excellent scope, but word of warning.
This is an excellent quality scope. I bought mine for my No.4 Mk1 along with a no-drill mount, and I bought a pair of Weaver rings at the local sporting goods store. My big blunder was that I didn’t read the reviews. I assumed it would fit standard 1” scope rings. The scope showed up a couple days early, which was nice, but the scope box inside the USPS box was very loosely packaged and had actually managed to punch a hole in the side of the box. I’m unsure who’s fault this is.Once my mount arrived I began putting everything together, but when the time came to put the scope in the rings, there was a screw of some sort on the bottom in the scope in the way.It was at this time that I finally contacted customer support and read the reviews and noticed it’s meant to go in the original T mount. After some headscratching I decided to dremel a notch in the scope ring for the screw, and everything fit nice and snug.Credit to customer service, they replied in a timely manner but I already had the scope mounted by then. The seller may want to include a very clear and bold word of warning that this scope is intended for the original mount, but can fit standard scope rings.

Well made with no damages
Packaged well, no damages. Scope is in perfect condition, no blemishes or scratches. Once the mount comes in I can’t wait to put some rounds down range.

it was like new in the original box
I bought one off Ebay for 250 dollars, it was like new in the original box, I have an original scope as well, so need to compare the two. On the mounts, I bought a repro mount with the pads which screw to the gun. I didn't need them but you had your choice of buying just the scope mount for 185 bucks, or the entire package with bases or pads as the english call them for 15 dollars more. Figured it was worth it to get the pads. I have three #4 (T) sniper rifles and this should mount up. The finish looks too good for an original scope, not quite the right bluing. but beats buying an original for 2000 dollars.
