![Tuxedo [DVD] [2002] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/519587FWPGL.jpg)

Clothes make the superspy in this high-energy action comedy. Jimmy Tong (Jackie Chan) is a well-meaning but clumsy New York City cab driver who is tapped by Steena (Debi Mazar), associate to multi-millionaire Clark Devlin (Jason Isaacs), for a new job as Devlin's personal limo driver. After a mysterious accident lands Devlin in the hospital, Tong learns that his new boss has a secret - when he's not wheeling and dealing in high finance, Devlin is also a secret agent for the CSA, a top-level security agency. The secret to Devlin's success as a spy is his trademark tuxedo, a suit which is loaded with special gadgets which turns him into a high-tech fighting machine. After Tong dons the tuxedo and is transformed into a martial arts master, he takes over for Devlin and discovers that the agent's injuries didn't happen by accident. As Tong tries to chase down a handful of international super-villains bent on world conquest, he has to deal with Devlin's new partner, Del Blaine (Jennifer Love Hewitt), a CSA rookie who is just as baffled by her new assignment as Tong. The Tuxedo marked the feature-film debut for director Kevin Donovan, who had previously won international acclaim for his work in television commercials. An unoffensive, enjoyable but typical hollywood Jackie Chan vehicle.
Despite some moments of cringe from the early 2000's this is on the whole quite enjoyable. It's utterly ridiculous and silly and that's okay. Jackie is such a likeable screen presence and his atheltic abilites lends itself to premise. It's far from peak Chan, and you'll always have a better time watching his early Hong Kong action films. A shout out to Jason Issacs who never disappoints, and it's clear when watching him here that he is a missed opportunity for playing James Bond. As for the blu ray itself. Solid. Detailed and delightfully filmic. I'm a sucker for transfers that aren't overly processed and just look like a straight up scan of a film negative. Specs of dirt, slight wobble through the gate. A warts and all transfer. Decent dts-hd 5.1 audio mix. Very much of it's time.

Okay not scary
Is it just me or was this more scary in the 1980s, I watch it when I was a kid and found it scary, I rented it last night and found it funny and boring, good movie back in the days just not now

Yes; ...well..................
Not a bad effort I suppose and no JC film is a total dead loss, though this one comes pretty close. On the plus side, good production values, a daft script, and Mr Chans personality keeps it rolling along nicely. The main draw back for me was the female lead. Dreadful, over the top "acting" and far too screechy and giggly for my liking. Someone should have told her that she can't do comedy. Please Jackie, make another Police Story film.

Classic movie, can't go wrong.
Out of all the Freddy franchise the 1st one is one I didn't own, everyone moaned he disnt talk enough, so the next few were made. He doesn't say a lot in this but his presence is enough. Classic horror. And great childhood memories and nightmares.

As soon as I heard about this movie, and I will be honest to say it wasn't until 2025 that I had, I ordered it. I love comedies and action adventures. I am also a fan of Jackie Chan. This movie is quite entertaining. The premise of the movie is quite silly, but that is what I enjoyed the most about it.
