FOVPLUE Kickstand Spring, Jiffy Stand spring for Harley Touring 2007-2024 and Softail 2007-2018, for Road Glide Road King Street Glide Electra Glide Tri Glide Ultra Limited, Black

I've tried many kickstand springs over the years and usually have okay luck with them but lately the ones that I used to order now have L-shaped hooks on the ends instead of a rounded hook. This wasn't a concern to me until I went to take off on my bike and realized the kickstand spring had popped off. I rode to the hardware store holding the kickstand up with my foot until I got there to buy a pair of vice grips so I can put the spring back on. After that it popped off again. Since it would only pop off with the kickstand down I reattached the spring put the kickstand up and rode 150 miles home without stopping. I immediately got on Amazon and ordered this spring. In fact I ordered two of them because I read the reviews and the reviews mentioned the hooks on the springs. I have installed this new spring and it works perfectly.

Didn't even last 2 days,Cheap metal, the hooks bent and wouldn't stay in. I would not recommend buying this.

I need to repair a customers broken kickstand spring, and ended up needing to pull a brand new one out of my inventory that was chrome.So i just put this back in inventory for future use.The spring seems to be of similar quality to others i've used in the past, and I will probably end up installing this on my bike once i swap everything over to black for the kickstand.Spring are fairly well hidden on most bikes, so you'll never see it, but if you do see it, it will be black.
