I like the fact that they are easy to use and can make light work out of extensive metal repairs, I've used them to repair striped holes in metal doors, stainless steel lids, automotive, appliances, ATV's, Marine, even hot-tub repairs. just naming a few, comes in matric, or standard. Love this item and will keep plenty on hand.

A must when restoring cars

These work great in metal cabinets, and most thin metal components, provided the pilot hole is drilled the proper diameter. If the mounting hole is the right size, they grip well and won't try to spin after being installed. It is up to the user to size the hole properly, as if it is a little to large, the inserts will spin in the hole after installation, which is true of ALL inserts of this type.

I have used a couple different sizes and they work perfectly.

The rivet nuts are NOT separated by size in each compartment !! Just dumped in wherever they were poured . Would be just as “ organized “ in a shoebox and skipThe “ Organizer “ cause u have to play “ go fish “ to find what you’re looking for . Standard sized box i bought was SAME way ! NOT IMPRESSED

The selection of rivet nuts found in this kit is perfect for me. Most of the rivet nuts that I use are 6mm and below, so the lack of quantity in the larger sizes is not an issue.This kit provides such an excellent price and selection that I don’t even mind the extra time that it takes to re-sort the different sizes that become scrambled in the flimsy case during shipping. They were going to have to be moved to a more substantial case that fits into my rivet nut kit anyway.The rivet nuts work perfectly as intended. As can be seen in the picture below, they compress evenly and correctly with an insertion tool. Most of the time I use SAE sizes, but for modifications to products that already use metric size machine screws, I prefer not to mix SAE and metric, so this kit provides the solution.The rivet nuts work well in metals and plastics. They are especially handy in plastics as tapping a hole for a machine screw isn’t a possibility most of the time. The diameter of the hole that they’re seated into varies with the thickness of the material. Thicker material requires a larger diameter hole.The Trivd Frol metric rivet nut assortment works well, even if it does require re-sorting the rivet nuts when they arrive.

I got this rivet nut assortment as I will randomly come across a worn or broken rivet nut that will require replacement. This kit will help me not have to make a special trip to the hardware store. I've already used a couple of these. They install easily, and I've not had any issues with them.
