DKCreate A Castle and Other Great Lego Ideas

I thought this would be a great book for my son with step by step instructions. Unfortunately it has no step by step instructions just general hints and tips on how to make parts move, they basically say first make the door (with no instructions how to) next build the door frame so you can position the clip pieces correctly (again no instructions). And advice like "a trap door needs to swing down to drop people out of sight so build it up high" but no actual instructions how to build it or what pieces to use for the mechanism. It has two pages at the beginning where it pictures the pieces you will need for the suggested builds in the book but quite a few of them aren't general lego pieces, you would have to order them separately and they only describe the piece they don't give the official Lego piece number that you would need to order it. On of of this some of the "suggestions" include building with about 50 of the non-regular blocks. It doesn't tell you anything you wouldn't already know and is a complete waste of money as far as I'm concerned!
