Great slim profile cap for my lens if you carry in a bag
I ordered this for my Fuji 23mm F/2.8 pancake lens. I needed to shave of a few millimeters for sling bag fit, because the OEM lens cap is just too thick for a small lens like that. The fit is really good. Just be careful and do not turn on the camera with the cap on if you have the same setup as me, because the lens does move elements externally right under the cap, which might damage your lens. FWIW, the lens can be easily modified to accept a tether, but I kinda like the fact that it doesn't have a hole. I should note that I would not use this cap with this lens if you plan on carrying the camera out of the bag (e.g. strapped around your neck or whatever) - I think it will come off.

Perfect Fit
I have a rather pricey vintage camera lens and it came without a front cap which I didn't realize when I bought it. It is German and I could not find out what size lens cap to use. It would not accept a simple slip-on cap. I estimated as close as I could and ordered this. I got it today and it fits perfect. It fits exactly right. The quality looks terrific. It was well packaged and arrived safely and on time. I would definitely recommend!!!!!

Another Canon G7x user here
After the lens cover blades on my Canon G7x mk ii were irreparably damaged during routine operation, I removed the blades, measured the diameter of the control dial, came up with 58.25mm, and found my way to this item, and immediately saw that its reviews were full of people in the exact same situation as myself. This lens cover fits snugly and securely over the camera's lens in its closed/powered off position. Its color and texture matches the camera body well enough that it looks like it was meant to be there. Only flaw-- item description states that it comes with a tether anchor, to allow the cap to be tethered to the camera body. The item I received has no connection point for a tether. If you are so inclined, you can resolve this by poking a small hole in the lens cover to thread a tether to, but this results in the whole arrangement losing a bit of its tidy appearance.

I don't get the good reviews. Mine were completely unusable.
Product description specifically says "Diameters are the inside dimensions of the lens cap. This corresponds with the outside diameter of the lens (or filter) which is covered with the lens cap." Well, that's just not true. I ordered 37&46mm sizes. The 37's showed up first, and the outside diameter of the cap is the same as the filter, not the inside. So it simply cannot be made to go over the filter. Period. I contacted the seller through Amazon and never heard back. I was still waiting for the 46's and assumed I had an odd lot defect as they were so grossly off base. But the 46's were only marginally better. It takes so much pressure to make them fit, that I fear a slip of the thumb would actually break the glass in the filters. In that the seller was silent on my return request, I even tried cutting slots in the perimeter to loosen up the 37's. They are in the trash now. The 46's will go on, but are so tight they force themselves off in only a few minutes. Worthless product, and no response from the vendor. So $50 for two sets of each shot....

They work fine. They're way over-priced. Try 2mm bigger than your filter size.
Fits well and doesn't fall off like pinch-type caps, but there are two problems. First and most obvious, they are horribly over-priced. It's a simple plastic molding and ought to cost about three bucks. Second, and more serious, their sizing is completely non-standard. As far as I know, in 30 years of experience, all other lenscaps are sized like filters. That is, a lens that takes 49mm filters usually takes a 49mm cap. NOT SO WITH THESE! On these Kaiser caps, the size is the inside diameter of the cap, so that, for instance, Pentax film lenses that take 49mm filters need a 51mm Kaiser cap. Presumably Nikon lenses that take 52mm filters will need a 54mm Kaiser cap. In general, try a size about 2mm bigger than the filter size of the lens. You want the outside diameter of your lens, NOT the filter size. There are so many complaints here about customers having gotten the wrong size that you would think the seller would want to make this more clear. Anyway, I got the right size on the second try, and the caps work well, but I won't be buying any more at the current price.

Good product and a few details
Made in Germany. Good material quality. Mine (68mm) is fitting perfectly a 67.8mm telescope male thread that is 5mm deep. Drilled a tiny hole in the center to avoid pressure suction! Again as they say, the diameter is the outer diameter of your lens / tube, nothing to do with filters..

Ottima qualità del materiale e si inserisce perfettamente sull'obiettivo.

If you want a lens cap which doesn't fall off then look no further. These Kaiser lens caps are relatively expensive but are worth the extra cost. It fits snugly over the lens and can't be displaced easily. Buy 2mm larger than the thread size of your lens ie 45mm for a lens with a 43mm filter thread.
