Did wat it is designed to do. For a one time use, you could day a bit expensive but think of the labour cost being saved. And if ever I need to fit (or refit) another carpet, I have it on hand.Brill gadget and the chisel tool was excellent. Especially when trying to nail gripper rod under radiator (place head of handle on daily, whack stem with hammer).A must for any DIYer garage.

As a diy er I wanted something that actually works and this carpet gripper does the job ,it’s easy on the knee plenty of padding which is needed good price to as you get a bolster and carpet cutter all very well made

Pretty good - the cutter however is only good for doing big cuts across the carpet prior to fitting. Buy a really good Stanley knife with new blades for when it comes to trimming.
