You cant. These are only white/clear lights

Yes it does, there is a power button on the battery pack.

Do the lights attract bugs, misquotes or other flying night creatures?

Night flying insects are known to be attracted to lights in general, but it depends on where those lights are being used. (places close to woods, with no movement of people...). I think the people who purchased this product had no problems in this regard.

How many sets would I need for a 10 x 20?

Although it is listed as 20 feet of LED lights, it's actually only just over 18 feet. The rest of the cord is blank and ends with the battery pack. Each order would then have 36 feet of lighted cord (18 feet x 2 strings) and for 10 x 20 you're going to need 60 feet. I haven't tried it, but they claim that the strings can be trimmed. Depending on where you want the battery packs located, and whether you want to use the excess somewhere else (like on the legs) or trim them. Since I haven't tried trimming mine, I don't know if the remaining lights get brighter.
