It says it contains SOY???

There is no soy in the product. One of the natural flavors (2% of the formula) has a tiny bit of soy lecithin (2% of that) - a phospholipid containing none of the soy protein from which it was derived - as an emulsifier. Also, labeling laws require that you must have a disclosure on the panel for those who are extremely sensitive to certain allergens regardless of whether they are in the product as long as the factory where the product was made also processes these other allergens (soy, peanuts, milk, etc). Why is there so much sodium in it? where's that fit into the primal blueprint?

I am not sure on you sodium question. All I can tell you is I am losing weight and inches using this product and I am not retaining water from the 375mg of sodium that is in it. I am just doing 1 shake a day for my lunch and eating a healthy breakfast, dinner & snacks. I am down 17 pounds so far in about 6 weeks.
