The experience and outcome were good.
Yeah, this is probably the easiest legit review anyone has ever gotten.A lot of work. And only part of the process. But it helped take a yard from roughly 70% weeds. To 80% grass. And well on it's way to being fully established. Used for initial seeding in some areas. Over-seeding in others. About 3 to 7 days to see sprouts. 2 to 3 weeks to full blades. 3 to 4 weeks till runners. I'm pretty sure I lost some of the seeds. But I honestly couldn't tell. From my perspective it was a full 15lbs bag of viable seeds.

Working for me in the south.
Working well for my yard, but I have a sprinkler system that goes off at 9, 11, 2:30, and 5 during the day. You must water the seed good or the grass coming in will die. I live in the south, so watering is a must! It grows slowly, so be patient.

Till the dirt, spread the seed and water for best results
the spiky rake thing that rolls to loosen the soil first, apply the seeds, cover them with topsoil and spread fertilizer if you wish. That was what worked best for me atleast, I have weeds and applied roundup carefully above them (the weeds) and left it to dry, the seeds don’t seem affected or the sprouts (they’re less than 1cm short though). The growth has been slow but I haven’t been watering it every day. It has been able to grow around the seeds that I tried removing so it means they’ll grow around them working to stop the regrowth of weeds as easily. Its greenness is very bright during the early stages, the functions I ask of it are a cooler lawn at summer that is resilient that doesn’t have to be reseeded every year. The shipping was trash and it took almost a month to get here so fair is fair

It does what it should. With work.
Wish I’d taken a “before” photo. When we moved here in December, this was all mud and weeds. Still some weeds but now we have a lot of grass! For perspective, I put the seed down about four weeks ago. I was not very diligent about watering. Maybe once a day. I did however break up the ground with one of those garden weasels. That was the hardest part but we have horrible south Texas clay soil so it was necessary. I didn’t break the soil in the front yard and grass hasn’t done well there. I bought two more bags to finish off this back yard. I could get it a bit cheaper elsewhere though so I’m not going to promote the Amazon price.

50% sprouting
I only get about 50% sprouting with this product. I rake the ground, spread with a hand shaker and covered with soil. Spotty growth.

Development
After five days of planting, it dawned like this. It's worth mentioning that he applied a potassium-hydrogen-phosphorus compound to the soil. We'll see how it behaves in the coming days.

Terrible Seed
I put out two bags with soil temp above 75 degrees, covered lightly with rich top soil and MAYBE 10% germinated and came in. Very, very disappointed. Watered appropriately as I have always done. Won’t buy this junk ever again.
