Beautifully designed cards. Good for any collector, new gamer, or fan of the original game.

Gave these cards as a christmas present to my son. They are vibrant, quality cardstock, and have cool graphics.

The is on the more difficult side of learning, but 2-3 play through and it's pretty much figured out. Beautiful art and overall fun addition to the base game, although it can be played stand alone.

Our group loves the original Betrayal games so I thought this would be perfect. We didn’t love it. We might play it once in a great while, but it definitely won’t be played regularly. We decided that we’d never want to play the three person variant, which means you have to have exactly four or five players. That limits it already.We also had trouble with the art. The symbols were way too obscure. We couldn’t decide what was even supposed to be on a couple of them so you had to compare the symbols by passing the player card to check and see if that person was the correct person to use an item. Plus the symbols and words on the player cards were all printed in a metallic ink that created a glare and were hard to see. I included a picture so you can see what I mean. One of my visually challenged friends said she will never play it again. If they did a reprint with clearer symbols and got rid of the metallic print I do think we’d be more likely to pick it up again.It took a bit of learning to play, but seemed interesting and unique enough.

If you’re a fan of the board game you’re gonna love this version. Played like a card game with characters and items you use to defeat bosses and “curses”. Would highly recommend.

The cards are absolutely gorgeous and once you know how to play the game it is insanely fun to play. The only reason I took off a star is because the instructions on the box are difficult to follow. BUT there is a YouTube video made by the game producers and I HIGHLY recommend watching it to learn the rules. Very helpful.
