Allows you to attend athletic events in rainy or cold weather
Purchased this so I will be able to attend outdoor athletic activities of my grandchildren. The inside of this actually warms up to a comfortable temperature. I ordered red and my son has a blue

Great for Outdoor Sports
My son plays travel soccer and we play in all weather conditions. This pod truly only fits 1 person. Great for wind resistance and for the most part it keeps the rain off of you. But if there is high winds and rain some of the rain does seep through, but not enough to where you are wet or soaking. I would highly recommend; I loved it so much that I also purchased the family size pod. Only con is that they are hard to fold back into the circle but you can watch YouTube tutorials to show you how.

Very cool idea! Kept me cool and out of the sun.
This is the first one I've owned and it took practicing a couple of times to get it folded back, but after the first couple of tries, I was able to fold it up and get it back into the carrying case. The mesh sides are great for summer and buggy conditions. The zippers and stitching are good quality. Not the best, but I would consider the quality sufficient for the application. They certainly aren't the worse either, but they are sufficient. The tarp floor is great for keeping your belongings from getting dirty or wet and keeping bugs out of it. I have an oversized chair that leans back a bit and a footrest. The chair fit comfortably inside. Obviously the footrest would not fit, but the pod is not designed for that. But it left plenty of room for a personal cooler and a backpack. The pod comes with stakes if you are fortunate enough to be able to stake it down into the ground. My first use of it unfortunately was on pavement so a strong breeze did blow it over. My chair kept it from complete blowing away, but it did overturn the chair, so having the cooler and backpack on the floor helped weigh it down. It rained a bit twice the first day I used it. Obviously the mesh is not intended to keep rain out but I was turned away from the rain, which was only a light rain so I didn't get very wet at all and it kept my cooler and backpack from getting drenched. Everyone else at the car show had to run for cover. The mesh did provide a bit of shade from the sun and when the sun moved, I just lifted my chair and turned the pod again, easy peasy. The black top and back wall provided ample shade when turned against the sun and made an otherwise hot and humid day very enjoyable. Many people commented on the pod and asked about it. I ordered the original pod with plastic sides for cooler temperatures and rainy weather and am excited to try that one out this fall. The carrying case is really the only complaint I have and it's a minor complaint. The zipper is not as good quality as what the pod has and could benefit from an upgrade. It's certainly big enough though to hold the pod with a bit of extra room. Overall, I really love this pod and I hope the company, over time, will only make improvements to the products. The quality of materials are middle of the road, average quality and will hold up to regular use for a while. They certainly would not tolerate any abuse or use outside of what is recommended as "normal". The company's website is very thorough and they provide very helpful instructional videos on how to unfold and fold each type of pod they sell. Thumbs up just for that! I did refer to the video on proper folding. Overall, I would purchase this product again and I think the price is right.

Roomy
I cant wait to use this. Had a bit of trouble folding but finally got the hang of it. Got this for summer softball and will purchase the other for winter softball. Zippers glide easily, i cant stand without stooping. Plenty roomy inside.

I love this thing!
I’m am so happy I finally got one if these! I am Not an outdoorsy person, and I hate bugs! Now I can go outside without being bothered by bugs. I can sit at picnics and eat in peace! She easy to set up. Just slide out of the bag and it just pops right up. Be careful not to do it close to other things. It’s pretty fast. Seems very durable. I’ve only used it once but so far it worked great at keeping my personal space bug free. You’re also protected in case of a pop up rain shower too. If you’re like me and like to sit out under an enclosed area when it rains this is even better. It does fold back up and goes right back in the bag. I recommend watching the video on their website. It does work. Takes a little practice, but it’s easy to do when you get it figured out. I’m 5’2 and I can just about stand up straight inside of it. Plenty of room for a fold up lawn chair with those built in cup holders. The screen isn’t too dark. I think it’s good on those super bright sunny days to help keep you shaded.

Works great
As advertised. Zipper woks easily, folds and unfolds effortlessly. Sets up fast. Highly recommend especially if you’re in a place where the insects sting and bite. In the warmer months I enjoy a glass of wine with a cigar outside but get eaten alive that is until now.

Almost perfect
I love this thing: easy to carry, easy to deploy or put away, bag has backpack straps for easy carry, mesh is fine and keeps out no see ums. The materials are high quality and well constructed, I expect it to last for years. So far my husband has napped (for hours) in the back yard; I spent 1/2 a day in the deep woods at a creek with no bug bites; yesterday I sat with mesh pulled back, used it as a sun shelter for taking Osprey pictures. Recently I had a flat tire in a difficult place and expected it to takes hours to get rescued, but I was not worried because I had the Mesh Pod and a chair and book, I am good to go. This thing makes camping a possibility again :) Worth every penny! But it could be a bit better: it is 58" high, plenty for sitting but too high not to block folks behind at a sporting event - which I do not car about at all - make it TALLER. Make it 65 or 72" tall and most folks could easily stand for photography, and it really would work as an emergency tent (not quite long enough for me to stretch out, I am 5'3").And please make a clear plastic rain-fly, with all the appropriate zippers, that could be pulled over this thing to make it a 4 season tool. After I got this on Amazon, I saw that the manufacturer has made a mesh insert for the plastic pod - thus making it 4 seasons.
