I’ve purchased multiple versions of the Govee Neon Rope Light 2 over the past year, and I can honestly say they’re some of the best smart lights I’ve ever used. Every time I install a new one, I’m reminded why I keep coming back to this product: it’s bright, beautifully diffused, easy to control, and just plain fun.The design of the Neon Rope Light 2 is a step above traditional LED strips. Pairing the lights is quick, and once they’re connected, I’ve had no issues with drops or delays. The scheduling feature is handy, and the integration with Alexa and Google Assistant makes it easy to control them with voice commands. I even have different lights set to come on at different times or react to music when I’m in party mode.These lights are also built well. The silicone is thick and durable, the lighting is bright without being harsh, and nothing feels flimsy or cheap. After months of use, all my sets still look and function like new.Overall, the Govee Neon Rope Light 2 has totally changed how I think about lighting. These rope lights truly complete my setup! They create an incredible atmosphere that makes streaming and gaming so much more immersive. Whether I’m relaxing solo or hanging out with friends—online or in person—they add the perfect vibe. The build quality is excellent, and I love that I can adjust the brightness from a subtle glow to a vivid shine. The app is super intuitive and syncing with Alexa was seamless. If you want to level up your space, these are a must-have!

Honestly thought the price was a bit steep at first but the quality is amazing and there is so many things that you can do in the app. It’s awesome, so much so, that I bought the standing light as well.

These are bright! I was surprised by how bright these were. They work like any other govee devices and I find them easy to use and pair to my home environment so I have no complaint here for that.I can kind of see how it would be a little rough to install but as long as I rolled it out and try to straighten out, it made it easy to install.

These look and work great, the animations can be choppy but unless you're staring directly at them tend to look pretty good. They're very durable as I've moved them around multiple issues without issue, and have re-paired them multiple times. My one complaint is the fact they have a microphone, I don't like the idea of random electronics in my bedroom having microphones - why can't they provide the option to buy it without one?

These light work amazingly good. The set up is a but odd and tedious, but once up they work great, specially as holiday lighting or mood lights for rooms

The media could not be loaded. After opening the box it can be a bit overwhelming, there’s a lot of small pieces and I got a bit overwhelmed — but, if you go on YouTube and search “Govee neon lights” there’s a 30 second video that really simplified the process for me! I am autistic and struggle with written instructions, so it was a great visual. I got the largest size and it wraps around my desk perfectly. These lights are incredibly bright and have tons of different color combinations / themes. You can also customize them individually and pick the colors you’d like to see. My favorite feature is definitely the music sync, it can seem a little too sensitive at first but there is a sound sensitivity slider in the app! I have the music box right behind my Echo, and it responds well.For the entire part of squiggles I didn’t use any of the bending connectors. I used the shortest ones and just made sure to have them shaped in a way where curving would be natural for them. I didn’t have a shape planned and just went for it. The heart bit at the end was a bit more complicated but I ended up using the straight clips for that part as well. Also, the screws would likely come in handy but I am in an apartment! The curved ones just kept falling off the wall and I believe it was because of the tension. These lights are definitely something you’ll have to play with for a bit to get them exactly how you want them, but it is 100% worth it!They’re very durable and insanely nice in terms of quality. The best LED’s you could find IMO (in my opinion). They connect to the Govee Home app as well as my Echo Show. 100% would recommend, just have some patience and trust the process!These are super bright, so I’d recommend blackout curtains in front of your window to avoid giving everyone outside a light show as well, haha. Amazing lights!
