Supportive and Comfortable Ergonomic Pillow: Vast Improvement in Neck Pain
I am writing this review after having used the Donama pillow for around 10 weeks now. I had been suffering from severe neck pain for several weeks and would wake up with painful spasms several times every night. I was actively searching for a solution that could help alleviate the pain. I had previously tried a water pillow, which helped somewhat but wasn’t quite right for me long term. While searching for a potential solution, I came across the Donama Cervical Pillow and decided to give it a try, drawn in by its ergonomic contour and memory foam design. After using it consistently for a few weeks, I can confidently say that this pillow has made a vast improvement in both my sleep quality and neck pain. I no longer wake up feeling stiff or sore, and I genuinely feel more rested. This has been a better solution for me than the water pillow I had used before.Below are the pros and cons I observed:Pros:1. Ergonomic contour design provides excellent neck and shoulder support, especially for chronic pain.2. High-quality memory foam feels both supportive and pressure-relieving.3. Works well across different sleep positions—back, side, and stomach.4. The included pillowcase is soft, breathable, and easy to wash.5. No unpleasant odor out of the box (a common issue with other memory foam pillows).Cons:1. The unique shape may take a few nights to get used to, especially if you’re switching from a traditional pillow.2. It has a shape that is different from standard pillows and hence may not fit all pillowcases snugly.Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. The advantages far outweigh the minor adjustments, and for anyone dealing with neck pain or poor sleep posture, I’d highly recommend giving this pillow a try. It’s been a game-changer for me.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I don't recommend things unless I REALLY like them, and this pillow is AMAZING!A few summers ago, I was installing one of our outdoor cameras after recharging it, and while I was on the ladder, I slipped. Thankfully, I caught myself, but in doing so, I tore my rotator cuff. My doctor didn't think it was a good idea to do surgery and instead prescribed exercise and NSAIDs. I was okay, but I woke up every morning hurting. After doing some research, I found the pain was continuing because of how I was sleeping. When I slept on the side with the torn rotator cuff, I was putting pressure on it, causing it to hurt. As I would adjust to the other side in my sleep, I would put pressure on the other shoulder, causing both shoulders to hurt when I woke up. It was a hoot!Everything I read recommended getting one of these pillows. I took the leap and bought one, thinking I would never be able to sleep with such a weird-shaped thing under my head. I WAS SO WRONG! It took 4 or 5 nights to adjust, and when I did, I have never slept better. I told my husband the other night that when we go on vacation, this pillow is coming with us!If you have neck, shoulder, or back pain of any kind, do yourself a favor and get one of these! I found mine on Amazon, but I just bought Wes one on TikTok.

Get standard size. Maybe.
5/29 Edit: I will say this pillow was just not for me. Probably not for smaller people, I'm 5'7. I appreciate the team reaching out and working an agreement. I'll leave this at four stars for solid customer service.Don't be an idiot like me and immediately make a purchase after reading a few good and few bad reviews. Take a few more minutes and look and compare other pillows and double check measurements. If you're a smaller person don't get the queen size unless you want to wake up feeling like you broke your neck. I'm 5'7 155ish lbs and using this because I've started to use a cpap and sleeping on back is what I found works best for me. The queen size was the same price as the standard for me at time of purchase.I didn't think much about it but the queen height but it is way too high for someone my size. You're suppose to put your neck on this arc spot and shoulders go under corner parts of the pillow. It says its suppose to fit the curve of the head without blocking breathing. We'll the stupid shoulder things keep clamping around my neck and it feels like someone's trying to suffocate me.Its been hot and humid where I'm at. Even with my ac on this pillow gets very hot. The traction on the bottom is abysmal. It felt like at any moment I would push the pillow away from my head, further putting strain on my neck. Maybe going to standard would give me a proper experience.

Better sleep and alignment
Absolutely amazing. I have C3 to T1 herniation and bone spurs that I recently caused further damage to. I never thought I would say a pillow, of all things, would change my life. My daughter has this same pillow and encouraged me to try it. I was experiencing a lot of pain down through my left shoulder, shoulder blade and arm. My left pinky finger is often numb. From the first night of sleeping on this pillow it made a big difference. My pain is not entirely gone, but has lessened extremely. I am beginning to get feeling back into my left fingers. I would recommend this pillow to anyone looking to lessen pain and realign their neck for better sleep. I have been a side sleeper for most of my life. As far as coolness, it does keep my head a little cooler than a traditional pillow. I recommend this to anyone experiencing similar issues, but more to those who don’t have issues yet to better align their neck and back for better sleep.
