Nice Waistband
These are nice shorts, very light, wide mesh panels on the side, brief is nice inside. Really like the yoga like waistband, a bit more comfortable.

Nicely made and great fitting running shorts.
I'm not one to have much brand loyalty, but I do have to say that other items I've bought from this brand have been a cut above. This one is no exception. These are nicely made, lightweight, yet somehow sturdy feeling running shorts. In case like me you weren't really thinking about what running shorts means, they have a little internal net to hold your goods, much like a bathing suit but lighter weight. That means that these might be a little uncomfortable to wear with certain underwear, but are great to wear without! Since I'm not a runner but I do play other sports, I may experiment with and without underwear to hold on to things. Too much information? Just thought I would mention it in case you weren't thinking about it like I wasn't. But back to this product, I am very pleased with it. They look and feel great, and I think I'll get a lot of use out of them! I was deciding between a large and extra large, and have a 38 waist. The large fits me great.

True to size
So light it is almost like they are not there. All stitching appears good, I did not notice any loose threads. I wear a 36 waist and size large fits snug enough in the waist that I am not worried about them sliding down, fit loose enough to allow air circulation. Elastic waist band is broad to spread the pressure, has drawstrings if you need a bit tighter. Built in briefs and two hand pockets for keys and such.

Cut is wrong
I can't find a pair of shorts that fit like my older UA launch 7" shorts. I've tried various iterations over the years, and they're getting worse instead of better. The material is in these is a bit thinner than previous iterations, which I kind of like (we'll see how durability holds up), and the built in underwear is improved from the previous ones I bought. But the cut on these is obnoxious. I have decently muscular legs (190 pound male, just over 5'10") - and I have to adjust and slide these shorts around to keep them from bunching when I'm doing any sort of stretching. My OG launch shorts in I could do full on yoga while wearing and barely noticed they were there. But I've worn those things to threads and cannot find a suitable replacement.2 stars because of the improved underwear lining compared to the ones I bought a couple years ago, but ultimately I believe a running short should be barely noticeable when you're stretching (since stretching is a key component of running) - not something that bunches and rides unless your legs are moving back in forth in a running motion. Steer clear if that kind of thing bothers you.
