Great quality sturdy braces, Nice and wide which makes them nice and comfy, good strong clips to attach them to your trousers.

Until you see and feel these you won't believe how well made they are. They are nice and wide and clip to your trousers so strongly it's unlikely they will pull off no matter what you are doing. They are well priced for the quality and should last a very long time. The only caveat I have is that they give no washing instructions or even whether they can be washed.

Even though the items were reported as "dispatched" by Tool Discount Centre (TDC) via Amazon, it was obvious that they hadn't been and items were only delivered a week after the indicated outside date following a query e-mail from myself and Amazon; no explanation or acknowledgement from TDC.Delivery aside, the braces are as advertised, strong and well made. I use them on a long work belt, suppoting, hammer, drill etc and the braces give confidence allowing free movement of hands whilst up a ladder without the spectre of the belt driving my work trousers down.

Fill your pockets full of lead and then jump up and down with these mothers on, and I bet your trousers still stay up!I was fed up with wimpy braces twanging off every time I bent down whist working. Problem solved...I use these on my walking trousers as well with no problem, although they are more likely to cause damage to a thinner material.I clipped the braces between two saplings today, pulled them back as far as they would go, and launched a Jack Russel in to the stratosphere. Only kidding...It was a cat.There are 46 inches, plus metal clips, of elasticated material on the braces. I am six foot two and these braces are plenty long enough to keep my trolleys up.The material is meant to last, the stitching looks and feels strong. The braces are comfortable to wear because the are so wide. A touch over two inches wide in fact.THE CLIPS!! Don't get any flesh in the way when you shut these beauties...I think they are actually surplus bear traps that have been attached to the braces. They are vicious!

I bought these braces because I had a suit where the trousers were a little big. There is no doubt that the braces are made from strong materials, in particular the metal clips which when you snap closed would certainly not let your trousers slip out. Sadly the suit in question was a £4,000 Savile Row one, hand-made from very soft material. The fairly sharp edges of the clips and the way they grip the material so tightly made me worry that they would cause holes in my trousers pretty quickly. Therefore these braces weren't suitable for me, but I'm sure that other people would find them perfect.

Bought these for work trousers. Thought I'd buy some with wide straps for comfort. Great choice. Really comfortable. They do not restrict movement. Strong clasps that do not slip. A great price and with free, fast delivery. Would recommend.

Looking at the gaily printed product label fixed to the product he said, "Suspenders, just what I wanted and made in America as well", Bending down he fed the long end down inside his trouser legs and fixed the immensely strong clips to his sock tops. The shorter elasticated strap he pulled up and clipped to his trouser tops. "These are really nice, my socks will stay up for ever with these strong clips and wide webbing, but I think there is some thing wrong somewhere?" he remarked as he tried to walk away! But two weeks later the metal clips broke!

These U.S.A made Brimarc work or casual braces are extremely well made and durable. The metal adjusters and clip fittings are robust and do not slip from the waistband of your trousers, like some other makes that you can purchase. They support your trousers very securely, and are very comfortable to wear, comparing them to wearing a belt around your waist. I'm a definite convert to braces and will probably order a fancy patterned pair for casual dress in the very near future. Well worth the money, and a very good purchase.
