It attracts and hold the Mag-Safe on my iPhone like no other mount I've used. My wife has an $80 Mag-Safe holder charger in her car and thing thing attracts and holds way better. I modified an old Logitech (Non-Mag-Safe) magnetic holder (the type you would glue a thin metal plate to the back of the phone case). I took apart the original Logitech, then I drilled & tapped a 1/4 - 20 screw thread through the center of the Logitech end plate put a 1/4 - 20 screw with thread locker on both ends and attached this plate to the original plate. The whole thing looks like it was made by a manufacturer and not rigged together. This Mag-Safe plate works, love it.

Works exactly as intended. It is easiest to take off and move from tripod to tripod.

Seems like good fit for certain applications. Just not mine.

This works great with MagSafe phone cases. I use it mounted to my focus monitor and it has a strong hold to keep my phone safe when rolling it around.

This year Colorado updated the law about not holding a mobile phone while driving. Before if a law enforcer pulled you over for another issue it could be added on that you were using a mobile device at the time. Now it is a primary reason for pulling someone over. Because of this change I thought I should update my phone mount. I use a pretty simple solution with a UTEBIT Adjustable Magic Arm with Super Clamp (Amazon item 1740138841) and a manual tripod clamp. This worked well but took a few seconds to place the phone and grab it back. Having MagSafe on my phone meant I didn't need to use this clamp any more. The NEEWER iPhone tripod mount adapter works perfect with this setup. I had to make a few adjustments to the magic arm clamp to make it fit properly, and it bottomed out the thread just before it was tight enough but that was easily fixed with some locktite. Now when I get in or out of the car I just pop the phone off the mount and go.Not sure how well it would work as tripod mount without a few more pieces. If you were to mount it directly on the head your phone would be pointed straight down. So you'd have to have a head that can rotate 90º easily and it would be awkward to get smooth movement.

Incredible for a phone holder in my mini cooper.

Works as described and holds the iPhone 15 Pro very well. It sits on the end of a Noga arm.

I paired this with an all metal 1/4 tripod screw swivel mount and some hardware into my dash to create a more sturdy (no plastic) car phone mount. This is the way to go.
