Poor explanations with little to no context
Book is really awful, which is a shame because the last two books (Sybex ITF+ and A+) were really good. The writer seems like one of these people who says a lot without actually saying anything. It is like he has found some sort of way to write that makes you feel like you are reading without your glasses on, or like you are driving in the dark without your head lights.Everything is poorly explained using a load of gibberish words that sound like they came straight from a technical documentation, and little to no context is provided for the reader to really understand what the writer is trying to say. As a result you are left scratching your head saying to yourself "what on earth is he on about?!".This is coming from someone who is self-taught in software engineering, is working on a computer science degree, passed the ITF+ and A+ exams first try, and has no issues learning the material for the Network+ but from somewhere else. It is a problem with this book and the author. That being said, I'm only on page 64, so maybe it will get better?
