Love my dehydrator! Perfect every time. So far I've done tomatoes, pineapples, bananas, peaches and apples. Still to come fruit leather, Jerky, some small dog treats. The 1000 watt machines are the best, my brother in law agrees, he does a lot of dehydrating.

So far I love it. I haven't used it enough to go 5 stars. I love the rotation, the glass door, light in it, and the fact that it is metal and sturdy not plastic is a biggie for me. Very easy to use, and very quit. Can barely hear it running.

The media could not be loaded. I love this dehydrator! The rotation feature allows for even drying, it can dry a large amount of fruit, veggies or meat at a time, there's an optional light, and the mesh trays are very efficient. A few silicon mats are provided, they are easily cleanable as are the round mesh trays. This machine is quiet, too! The only flaw I can find in it is that it doesn't have an off on switch to completely turn it off, so the off-on button continually flashes unless you unplug the machine entirely. I've just gotten it, I'm trying small batches first to gauge weather each tray level is as efficient as the others. And whether or not the multiple tray system requires certain veggies or fruits to dry longer than normal recommended times for smaller dehydrators. But all in all although this is large... and it is about as heavy... roughly the size of an indoor air conditioner, for private use, if you have a place to put it, it is fantastic!

One of the best items I bought last year! So far it works great. Perfect size, I was able to dry many herbs in one load.

I got this as a Christmas present. We unpacked it and went through the initial “burn in” with no problems. When we used it for a trial run the heater never stopped running at maximum temperature. I suspect it was damaged when in transit. The styrofoam in the bottom of the package was all cracked and looked like the box landed hard somewhere in transit. We’re sending it back.

It dries everything really good and pretty fast. I don’t like that sometimes you have to turn the turner back on to get the trays out the turner should stop in the front every time. Mine did come with a dent on the side but it works like it should and for the money I would buy another one for drying meat in it. I use this one for my greenhouse and garden.
