KiNSMART 1971 Jeep DJ-5B 1:26 Scale 5" Die Cast Metal Model Toy Truck (Police)

This was really cute. We put it in the mailbox for our postal carrier. It looks like one of the old US Mail jeeps from the 1970s. She was extatic.

My model arrived just fine. Very detailed, nicely painted with the sliding doors. I will be using mine for a 1:24 scale diorama. I am sorry to hear that some folks received a damaged model, but this one is a great model for the price. You can buy these in 1:24 for much more and not get some of the details. I wish it included a figure like a postman, but I understand that would increase the price. I ordered a postman separately for $14. This vehicle is recommended by the Amazonian.

I love the detail and is more a collectible than a toy! But the action drive train begs for it to be played with! That makes this a bargain!! I’d recommend and buy again

I like these despite the fact that they are inexpensive. They seem fairly accurate and I like that they are very close to 1/25 scale (they are 1/26 scale) so I will be able to use detail parts from other kits if I need to.I am looking forward to repainting one into US Postal Service colors and maybe another as a parking meter enforcement vehicle.
