Easy to read and the practice tests are good. Gives the question with the answer. Easy way to study.

I just received the study guide and it looks pretty comprehensive and simple. Easy to read through. Does come with 100 flash cards and some learning videos, and strategies and HR strategies that you can download by scanning with the QR code.

It’s a general overview of topics so I’m not sure how well it will help in understanding the content on the test if you don’t already have a strong HR background, and there wasn’t much guidance on how to approach analyzing the question structure for the exam. The practice tests have the answers right below the questions so I didn’t feel I got to take the tests truthfully. There were spelling, grammatical errors, and formatting inconsistency which were somewhat distracting and obvious enough that I’m surprised they weren’t spotted during the editing process.Overall I don’t know if I’d recommend this book, but I will try to update my review once I take the SHRM exam to confirm if it assisted in passing the exam.
