Pretty impressed
I don't write reviews for all of the items I buy on here. I expect a lot of the items I purchase on Amazon to be borderline consumable. I had read good things about this headset and its comfort, I get hot playing, it seemed like a product worth trying. It kind of nailed it, it fit well, is easy to adjust, can be used by a wide range of head sizes. The fan is a lifesaver to me and should just be a standard purchase for headsets in my opinion now. It's ugly, but performance wise I think the design fits. If you play with the adjustments I feel it really cradles the back and lower part of my head. Balance the weight with the battery pack and you lose that feeling of the headset pulling or falling forward with the weight. The headset feels solid, and has survived pre-teen use too. So here is the * After about a year the battery died, honestly I had been kind of bummed. I expected the longevity to be a little better for the price point, but I was still not super upset because at the end of the day I didn't follow best practices for charging and storing. I was crunching numbers for the price of a new battery and was about to pull the trigger, thinking well if I do a better job and get two years out of the next one, honestly the buck and a half a month would have been worth it to me. The headset really fit me well. Anyways before I hit buy I reached out to BoboVR and with a few emails on my part and superb customer service on their part, a new battery was on the way. I think they correctly diagnosed why my battery failed but they still very quickly honored their warranty. Communication was fast given the massive time zone differences, the communication was clear and easy to understand. Given it was an amazon purchase, finding a good vendor for what can arguably be a consumable product can be hard. Now not only am I happy I chose to try the product, they did something pretty rare and earned a repeat customer. I will now be purchasing their battery and dock that allows you to use the battery packs as portable stations. The form factor and dual use with my headset make it one of the better values in a battery pack to me.

It's very comfortable and worth it.
The padding is so nice and makes playing more comfortable the fan is good but not really strong still good though. the extra battery life to continue playing dungeons of eternity is a life saver and being able to quick swap dead to a fresh on the fly makes gaming so much better. The only thing I don't like is when I'm looking down at the floor if feels like it's gonna slip off my head. I know I can't return it on January 1st as it's a federal holiday. So I will use it for the next day or two and see if I want to keep it or send it back. Right now I'm in the middle of the fence. Well update when I get more play time with it. (Update) After playing more with it today it is good and I've been able to play longer and enjoy it without the headache I would get from the stock strap that comes with the quest 3. Has of right now (11:10pm January 1st 2026) there was a scare. I had the battery on the strap it showed it was charging then it went off like it was dead or not connected. I took it off pressed the battery check button it showed 4 dots. I put it back on it seemed to work again. I will be playing more throughout the night to continue testing and make sure that it doesn't seem to not work again because of so it may be very comfortable playing with it on. But it would seem wasted money of the battery isn't working properly. I will update again before I go to bed and give updates had to if the battery is good. Update 1:14pm final update for now is it's the perfect head strap and battery. The issue I had must of been just because I tried laying my head on my pillow and it slightly moved the battery. I will still keep an eye on that. Overall I highly recommend. Main issue is once your in a for awhile and sweat the fan you felt at the start is basically not great now. But still the comfortable padding is a life saver for long time play. I've been in for 3-4 hours straight and I don't get a headache like I did after 1 hours and a half with the stock strap.

Buy it if you love to play VR
This is a response to the 1 start reviews complaining about it not being big enough for a grown man. False, all of those individuals don’t know how to adjust it. Theres two different pivot points to adjust orientation of the visor and back strap, plus it can adjust smaller or larger to fit a massive range of head sizes. My head is HUGE, it fits great, my nephew has a tiny head, it can tighten down to fit him. Now for the battery life, my brother has a two year old Quest 3 and an external battery strap about the same age. He gets about 2.5 hours of play time. When his is dead, I still have 50% on this external battery and 100% on my internal battery. You can play for 5 hours at least on a single charge. If you buy a 2nd battery, you can play infinitely. It’s comfortable, easy to install, high quality, durable, looks cool, battery life for days. Highly recommend.

Solid product Would recommend
Whoever said this product doesn't work with the Quest 3s was wrong. This product is worth the price and increases comfort by 1000000000000%. The battery is magnetically attached and keeps the headset charged while using. Its very easy to install as you just slide it onto the side pieces. The fit is customizable design and you can tell this product is sturdy and will last. Great upgrade.

So good!
TL:DR: Super comfortable, easy to adjust, easy to install, fan is nice. I bought this basically as soon as I got my Quest 3 because the strap that comes with it, is garbage in my opinion. This thing is crazy comfortable! It installs in seconds with hardly any effort and the little wheel on the back makes adjusting it to your head so easy. It felt secure and moving my head around I didn't feel the headset slip at all. The fan is nice! Honestly, I didn't think I would like using the fan, but once I tried it, I wouldn't ever not use it. Does it make noise? Yes, at higher levels. It's not really noticeable at lower speeds though you can still feel the fan. I can't really talk about the battery life since I ultimately ended up returning the quest because I kept getting sick, but from all the research I had seen, it looks like you would get another 2-3 hours of use out of your headset. It's neat too that the battery is so easy to swap out if you have multiples. The battery does take a while to charge; a few hours, so even if you drained the battery, you could plug in the drained one and by the time you drain the one you're using, the one on the charger is ready to go, so basically infinite use time.

Its Good
Battery makes it go longer. Easy to set up and make it fit to your head. Feels nice and comfy. It is a little heavy and the fan is good.

Finally, comfort, balance, and battery life done right.
Let’s get one thing straight, the stock Quest 3 strap is hot garbage. It’s like Meta hired a medieval torture designer and said, “Make it functional, but painful.” The BOBOVR S3 Pro fixes everything. Comfort? Outstanding. The balance between front and back finally makes the headset feel weightless instead of like a cinderblock on your face. The ratchet wheel on the back makes adjustment a breeze, snug, secure, and doesn’t pull your hair or dig into your skull. Battery life? Chef’s kiss. The hot-swappable pack adds hours of gameplay without feeling heavy. You can keep going as long as your body holds out. The magnetic dock system is slick, too, no fumbling with cords. The fan? I didn’t expect to care, but damn if it doesn’t make a difference. It’s like having a mini air-conditioner for your forehead. At higher speeds it’s audible, sure, but I’ll take a little hum over sweat dripping into my eyes any day. Bottom line, if you own a Quest 3 and you don’t have this strap, you’re doing VR wrong. This turns the whole experience from “cool tech toy” into “I could live in this world for hours.” Worth every penny.

Making an Almost Perfect Headstrap PERFECT for the Oculus Quest 3!
So, we all know the stock strap is complete garbage and the most uncomfortable thing on this earth. After extensive research across numerous brands, it seems pretty much more or less like the best choices we all have for owners of Quests 2 and 3 is either: 1) the elite strap upgrade from meta 2) Kiwi Headstrap models 3) Bobo S2 / S3 models Whereas the elite strap upgrade from meta is definitely a step up from the stock strap, it still was lacking for better overall comfort for me, so I narrowed it down between the Kiwi brand and the Bobo brand. Here is why I ended up choosing the Bobo S3 pro and after running into a common issue of the halo design and cog tightening wheel often coming loose everytime you looked top far up or down, I STILL decided it was the best Headstrap for me after adjusting some tweaks. PROS -Honestly amazing comfort, I've tried quite a few headstraps and for me the Bobo S3 is great. I like how you can customize the Headstrap to more or less fit your head, it really helps take off the pressure points compared to the stock model. -One of the main reasons I got this, Hot swap batteries!! The 10000mah batteries for this are great, and the magnetic connecting makes it seamless to take on and off and swap for another one. One battery and your headset gets 5 hours playing even the most intense demanding games. I bought an extra so can always charge one while I play with the other. -Cooling fan option, this was a neat little bonus I did not expect to want or need, and for most games, I will never use it, but for more intensive exercise games, it is a nice little touch to feel air blowing on your forehead for sure. Some people have complained of the noise, but I keep it between 50-70% and I barely notice it. CONS -The main problem most users have reported with this Headstrap, is the fact the cog wheel on the back used to tighten the Headstrap often comes loose Everytime you look up and down, causing your entire headstrap to start moving off your head and makes you need to constantly reposition when playing games that use these movement constantly. NOTE: I have figured out a way to reduce this cog wheel from ever coming loose and it has completely fixed this issue. See attached video where I just used a Velcro strap to tighten it after adjusting on my head. Literally night and day difference!! Search "Velcro strap for duty vest / armor best / molle vest" or something to that nature and you will find plenty options for relatively cheap. -some users report the two upper pads are uncomfortable on their head, I personally like these, but they are completely removable and he Headstrap is secure just the same, tbh you don't even need them at all, I just like the additional support personally but thought I'd mention it for anyone wondering. -weight, some users say it is a little too heavy, however I find with the Headstrap on with a battery, it almost perfectly counter balances the quest 3 headset itself, so to me I think this is a PLUS, I just had to include this in my review as well to be thorough. CONCLUSION -I think the fact Bobo has a swappable battery option, and has excellent comfort, and in my opinion, the battery system is better than the kiwi because of it being swappable and never needing to take the headset off to keep using another battery. The main issue where the Headstrap comes loose for users can be rectified using a Velcro strap for $5 on Amazon. Trust me you'll not regret it. All in all, AMAZING Headstrap upgrade for someone looking for good battery life extension, ease of battery swapping instantaneously, and doesn't mind spending an extra $5 and an extra 5 seconds adjusting the Velcro strap on the cog wheel Everytime you put your Headstrap on.
