How does this product even have anything more than 1 star? The MAIN GOAL of the product is to blow COOL AIR.Froze the packs for 6 hours, put all 3 packs inside the fan, after 15 minutes the packs were as warm as the room. During that 15 minutes the air was as cold as standing 1m away from an open fridge. IT FAILED TO DO ITS JOB. This product is RUBBISH.

The media could not be loaded. I read all the reviews and I believe most weren't aware of what they were buying. It's not an AIR CONDITIONER! It's a swamp cooler, uses ice pack to cool down the air. It works as that purpose. If you want an air conditioner buy one. I believe it blows real nice it's not too loud. I like the lights plus I can turn them off. I plan on using it in my car because my AC doesn't work. I may buy a second one to have a spare and get more ice packs.

Very little cooling effect, air coming out eith three icepacks is only slightly cooler than ambient. Airflow on highest setting is only able to reach aboutv2 and a half to three feet and is very minimal by that point. The fan was slightly louder than expected especially given the lower airflow, but not obnoxious, more like a white noise machine with the volume turned up. The fan does seem to push a bit more air if you turn off the light, but only slightly.

I don't think this item could cool down a one cubic foot box.Totally worthless, waste of money. save yourself the disappointment.

I live in Southern California! When it comes to summertime, when we get what they call the "Pineapple Express". When it's hot and humid and you're laying on your bed in a puddle of sweat!!! This item is minuscule to the job that needs to be done! The only thing that works for me, is a portable air conditioner!!! It removes the humidity and a cools you down beautifully! Satisfaction indeed!!! I know huh?!? When you install the frozen ice packs in the unit, the heat thaws them out quickly and the condensate adds to the humidity! Sad but true! I know huh?!?

I saw this little unit on Amazon and thought it would fit my need. My Central AC just broke and it’s going to take a few days for the parts to arrive. I considered modifying an ice chest by cutting a couple of large holes on the tops of either side and then using ducting tubes to force air through the ice chest (filled with ice) with a fan on one side blowing the air from inside the chest onto me directly.The bad reviews made me reconsider… but I am glad I bought it anyway. It is perfect as a “spot air conditioner”. The air is forced through the tubular body containing ice packs (similar to what one might use in a ice chest) and comes out chilled on the other side.I think the bad reviews of this tell us more about the reviewer than about the product.This is NOT a room AC unit! This is not an alternative to buying a traditional window unit. If you need to cool a room or a house, then buy an air conditioner for a few hundred dollars. This unit blows cold air, chilled by “ice packs”, directly onto a person from a few feet away. It is not a cheap remedy for an HVAC system.I like this product a lot; my only suggestion to the manufacturers is that it would be nice to have a second set (of three) ice packs, so that when one set has given its all, we can exchange it for another set is in the freezer, that is frozen and ready to go.I included a picture for a better size perspective.In addition I bought the KidzRule Portable Air Conditioners, Personal Anti-leakage Water Air Cooler, 3 Speeds Mini Air Conditioner with 2 Ice Packs, Ice Cooling Air Cooler Fan for Home Office Bedroom(L-L11) and it is significantly better.

Plastic is a little flimsy but the product delivers on cooling. Color lighting is impressive. I will be ordering a couple of these as a reserve for my dogs oxygen box to keep her cool and happy during her treatments. I was frustrated with the heat in the box, not now my pup is relaxed and calm. Great purchase. I only wish there were extra backup freezer discs.

Do Not Waste Your Money! I followed all the instructions and never got an even lukewarm breeze out of this machine. It was terrible. Very noisy. Sounds like an old car trying to keep going. With a heat wave going on and my air conditioner not working, I was desperate. Do I regret purchasing this machine? Yes! All it did the entire time I had it running was waste power.
