This is the first time I've had a bird feeder. I live in a condo and don't want to leave a mess for my downstairs neighbor, so I got this to put on a window in an area where this won't be inconvenient for my neighbors. I also really wanted a window feeder for my cat to watch the birds. It was slow-moving getting bird customers, after about 4 days of the feeder being set up, I had a Tufted Titmouse come visit and has been coming to the feeder every day now for the last 2 weeks, multiple times a day. Last week, a song sparrow and house finch started visiting the feeder and now also come regularly every day. This morning, there were two sparrows and a house finch at once, so it appears to be picking up in popularity as the birds start to learn that it's there for them. My cat does likes to lurk, so I bet that's why it's been a little slow moving getting customers, but they keep coming back and seem to be getting new ones every day! The feeder was easy to assemble except one piece of plastic had a rough edge and wouldn't easily slide into the other piece, so I used a nail file to file it smooth, and that worked like a charm (so giving 4 stars for ease of assembly). Suction cups hold up great, very sturdy and there's little holes that keep the seed dry but aren't small enough to let it all fall out. I changed out the bird seed today and it was super easy. If I ever need a second one, I'll def buy again.

This bird feeder was easy to put together and is already getting a ton of use.

This was pretty much together out of the box, add the suction cups and fill with seeds. The design is a nice compromise, it doesn't offer as much protection from the elements as others but it does allow many birds to feed at once, easily. Other feeders have the space at the base but only 1 or 2 will feed at a time because they don't have head room because of the roof. This one we get 3-5 birds consistently feeding at once which is such a treat for our Preschoolers!

The Mrcrafts Window Bird Feeder is easy to assemble, and its suction cups are nice and strong to keep it in place on your window (just in case, though, clean your window before attaching the feeder).It's made from clear acrylic, so your view of the birds who come to feed will be unobstructed from any angle. The base has drainage holes bc rain will get in, but your bird seed won't be sitting in a puddle. Still, when you first start using this feeder, the birds may be skittish, so your seed might last longer—please change it out if it's still there in a week, bc if it gets moldy, it could harm or even kill the birds.But the birds won't remain skittish long. Pretty soon, I swear it seems they come to know the person on the other side of the glass and lose all inhibition, so your feeder will need to be refilled often. We have had similar models before, beginning when our youngest was just a toddler, and he absolutely loved to watch the birds. He'd laugh and scream at their antics (especially finch arguments lol), and the birds were not bothered a bit. In fact, if we failed to fill the feeder quickly enough, the birds would sit atop it calling for their seed.

We haven't put this up yet because we were waiting on the rainy days to go away. So far we are very happy with the bird house just looking at it and getting it ready to put outdoors. The quality is just what we were looking for. I wanted a bird house against the window just so we can actually see the birds! Just observing the suction cups I feel like they will do the perfect job! So far I definitely recommend this bird feeder!

The suction cups were great.The construction of how the feeding tray fit was very flimsy and the birds knocked it down so many times it finally broke after only 2 weeks.Would not buy again.
