Solid, rugged & versatile wifi VoIP phone
This phone with a DID from voip.ms on a pay per use plan + e911 service is the cheapest alternate to a traditional landline service and even popular VoIP services like Ooma etc. Moreover, this is wifi so you can carry it anywhere you want where you have wifi. In terms of quality, Grandstream devices are anyways top quality but WP825 is rated as dustproof and drop resistant. Setup was super easy and basic setup can be done directly via the phone or for advanced setup, access its web console. Battery backup is pretty solid as well. I would recommend.

Nearly perfect
Great phone with almost all the features I need. While you can hold calls, you cannot park. At least with Zoom phone service, you cannot.

Garbage phone needs constant resetting
Absolute garbage. Latest firmware on all three phones. They stop ringing nearly every day, won't answer when pressing answer, and require constant rebooting to work for a day or three. Might as well have burned the $500.

Battery life is not what is advertised. Not even half that.

NOT for Ooma Office
Will not work with Ooma Office. After talking to Ooma support, you have to buy the exact same phone through the Ooma website.Update:Bought the same phone fr Ooma. There is a delay when talking. Had to return item since it was useless and unproductive to use.

Works reasonably well with voip.ms
Worked, more or less out-of-box, with voip.ms. Logging onto the thing for the first time was a little tricky -- you have to remember a password that you just dismissed -- and it doesn't seem to be possible to change the DHCP name for the device -- but it acknowledges PCMU type communication, and the resulting phone calls are very clear. With my Google Home setup, I couldn't hear voice on incoming calls until I set the voip.ms settings to enable NAT. A pretty good deal for the price, if (as is the usual case with VOIP) you are willing to spend the time futzing with it.
